I think that after last night it isn't blasphemy to discuss the idea of trading Kobe for the betterment of the franchise. Of course only if he is on board. One reason he would be? To have a shot to win another ring somewhere else while at the same time allowing the Lakers to get younger and start to rebuild now rather than in two years.

The one team that comes to mind that can't get over the hump? OKC.

Lakers get:
Russell Westbrook $15.7m
Kendrick Perkins $9.6m
Total: $25.3k

OKC gets:
Kobe Bryant $23.5m
Robert Sacre $915k
Jordan Clarkson $507k
Total: $24.9k

No way in hell OKC trades Westbrook for a 36 year old coming off two major injuries.

They'd be ignorant to not trade for that same 36 year old who just dropped 31 points, yes he took 25 shots but let's also remember that when you double Kobe, KD is there to make you pay and like-wise with KD, you double KD, Kobe is there to make you pay. Do I see this happening? No...would it be beneficial to OKC? OF COURSE....
