OP should add to his thread title that we have a Top 5 protected Draft Pick just to remind everyone to calm down and look at the bigger picture

Would the Knicks trade us for Kobe? Bargnani, JR Smith and Hardaway? Maybe a draft pick.

Kobe can go out with Melo, D Fish and Phil. Much better than having to watch him struggle through this season.

(bleep) that. His contract is part of the reason we're in the situation. He should go through the struggle like everyone else.

The Knicks still own their 2015 pick. They can trade the rights to the player after drafting him.

10 years??? Only if you count being in the Super Bowl as good enough. The Raiders haven't win a championship in 31 years.

Mitch is the Anti Jim though. When you tank you need to value draft picks and Mitch trades away draft picks like they were hot cakes.

I'm not sure you understand why he traded them.

Hey RingFinger, I understand why actually. I just don't know if I agree with it though. Especially with how the CBA is constructed today, I'm sure they will valued it more now though.

He seems to have good footwork and can post up and get points in the paint which we lack on this team.

He may not be explosive like Howard or Jordan but is really talented and would be a great piece to build around for the future.

I'd love to see Kareem work with him if we are fortunate enough to draft him.

The raiders were the winningest team in the history of american sports leading up to the 2004 year. They were a storied franchise and easily the best of their division. Fell on a 10 year trap once Al got senile and still looking to recover. This is year 3 in their rebuild and although they suck right now I do see some light at the end of tunnel with a few of the young rooks.

I hope next year Randle and maybe another top 5 pick this year can get me feeling positive about the future with the lakers too.

On the bright side of this mess, the LG win total fundraiser should do well this year! Can't see this team getting to 30 wins, and if that's the case the fundraiser will bring in at least $20 from all those who bet OVER. For the sake of the LG fund raiser and to our chances keep our lottery pick, here's to hoping we go even lower than 29 wins.

Lin counts 8.5 million against the cap. So, no.

Thomas and Stephenson would of have been a ban-aid over a gaping flesh wound.

He has traded picks just to get rid of players that he gave ridiculous contracts to in the first place. Sasha, Luke. He sold picks too Tony Douglas, Patrick Beverly.
