Hi, I consider this Laker related, but if not, please feel free to move it to General Basketball.
My "friend" was whining on Facebook about how Julius Randle was damaged goods now. I think he is being overly dramatic. I'm sure there have been other NBA players who have broken their legs and came back to have good NBA careers.
The ones I can remember:
1. Kenyon Martin
2. Sam Bowie - well, maybe not a great career, he was able to play but his problem was more than just one break...
3. James Worthy? One of my friends said James broke (fractured) his leg in his rookie season (I don't remember that, can anyone confirm)
Anyone else? Could you please add to my list?
Of course currently on the list:
1. Paul George
2. Julius Randle |

If it is just bone, he should be OK.
If there is ligament damage, muscles, etc, it could be worse.
Grant Hills problem was the fracture never healed properly.
So he was pretty athletic when the bones stopped breaking. _________________ -----------------------------------------------------

I remember that season in Detroit for Grant. There was news that he had some ankle issues etc but he played on. Against Miami it finally gave out. Years after the fact, Grant came out and said his ankled was (bleep) and he went on and played anyways because of impending free agency and on the advice of team doctors.

Moral of the story is to always get a 2nd and 3rd opinion.

Jason Kidd, broken ankle.
Didn't MJ break his leg? Or was that Magic Johnson? _________________ Resident Car Nut.
