Hated it. It's good for next season's ratings, but I feel like they went over the top this time.

Plus I'm waiting for Gemma to pay for JT and now for Tara.

What did you think was over the top? I'm actually glad because Tara was just annoying and of all that's happened on the show, Gemma offing her doesn't seem too over the top.

I'm wondering how they're gonna play this next season. Jax would seem the only one to pin this on. He's at the scene with blood all over him, a gun on the floor (though I would think they should be able to tell it wasn't the murder weapon) and motive to kill. That said, it's obvious how Tara died and no murder weapon on the scene. If they don't pin this on him, Jax no longer has to turn himself in to trade himself for Tara.

And Juice. What does he do? He could play it a few different ways.

What the ****?!!

No opinion on the episode. Still in shock. Wow!

I must say though, Tara was annoying as hell this season but Gemma annoyed me throughout the entire series with her underhanded ways constantly being a distraction and an interference to the MC.

Next season should be quite interesting to say the least.

I figure Juice will take the fall and off himself for the whole thing. Gemma won't let Jax take the fall. She would confess. They already portrayed Juice as suicidal. If he takes the fall, says he did it and kills himself... Jax goes free and Gemma lives with another really dark secret, but everyone is out of a jam.

SOA's ratings kicked ass this year. FX must be stoked; third for 18-49, behind only Walking Dead and Breaking Bad

just got around to watching it last night, wow..

Typical blood-bath ending, like others have said, set-up a number of scenarios for next season, including:

Nero: Pissed at Jax, dumps Gemma, sides up with the Mayans

Mayans: Killing of the ex-Pope Gang guys is to start a huge turf war and the they have the Irish Gun pipe line

The Chinese gang is also ready to fight with the Ex-Pope gang and they cannot be too happy with the SOA for serving up their dudes for the slaughter...

Jax will easily beat any murder rap, and yeah maybe (and hopefully) it gets pinned on Juice.

Gemma will probably somehow get off, that is what she does.

There is a new head Cop coming to Charming and that will lead to other clashes with him and the Sons..

I am tired of CC Pounder (the DA) and hopefully we do not have another season of her..

Yes, next season is poised to be exciting...

Someone care to make a list of everyone killed off this last season? and don't forget Filthy Phil...

I agree it should be easy enough for Jax to avoid arrest on this. Ballistics will show it wasn't his gun that killed Eli, there's no murder weapon for Tara and the DA knows he was coming there to turn himself in to save Tara. No reason for him to kill her. Sutter says he's probably going to start next season jumping forward a few weeks in the timeline and I think that's enough for the cops to investigate and ultimately absolve Jax.

Juice is basically alienated from the whole club given Jax told the guys how Juice betrayed him. Jax also told Juice how he knew about it, which seems like it would set up Jax thinking that Juice went and killed Tara and maybe Eli got in the way. I could see Juice on the run with the club going after him and Jax unchained. Gemma won't tell because she'll never see the grandkids again but she could try to help Juice as subtly as she can. The turf war between Mayans/Chinese vs. the one-niners is going to be a huge distraction to that.

CCH Pounder will be back next season. Sutter pretty much said so after the episode. I thought it was an interesting season. A little surprised Tara was killed off the way she was, but they pretty much hinted she'd die the whole season. I wonder how they'll end the series next season. Reminds me of the Shield, which Sutter was a writer. You knew Mackey was gonna get his comeuppance, but it was interesting how they played it all out.

Really? Jax is the center of the show. That character is the show.

Yes, Clay was great, but he wasn't the focus of the show. Never.

Basic forensics would clear Jax. If the writers expect us to feel Jax is at any threat for taking the fall, then they're (bleep) idiots.

Why the hell would Unser be so eager to tell Gemma partial information like that? He's not the type to even tell the club something that might lead them to hurt Tara. He would keep it to himself if he thought Tara was really ratting.

Jax is the show. Doesn't matter if you like him or not.

Gemma is the one who should have bit the dust a looong time ago. How much crap is she going to start and get away with? She's the cause of 75% of the problems on the show.

A possible scenario is Juice taking the fall for both murders in hopes of redeeming himself to the club and Jax.

OR he could split with Gemma and go stay with Nero and his crew or the Mayans. Possibly setting up a showdown between the Sons and Mayans later on.

The show has become a little too Jax-centric. Need to see more of Tig and Chibs. They have gotten away from the supporting cast and need to bring it back.

Right. The music on this show has always been so on point and fitting, usually with the opening and closing scenes, but this was in a league of its own.

Bump because so much ish has happened since the premiere .

Only a couple episodes left and pretty much everything is out there now. Can't believe it ended up being a 5 year old to bring down the wicked witch.

Lots of death. But this show needs to be sent out to pasture already. It's gotten pretty ridiculous at this point. I must have shook my head and facepalm-ed 5 or 6 times during this last episode.

**spoiler**

Jax just killed Unser and his mom. So what does he do? Bones his ex wife. That should help you un-complicate things, Jax. Way to go, buddy.

You can tell the show started caring less about quality when they made Jax such a major focal point the last few seasons as a service to all the fangirls. Luckily, we will only have to endure one more episode where Jax conveniently bares his arse for the ladies. lol.
