They care now because ?
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/11/16/report-dea-conducts-surprise-inspections-of-visiting-team-doctors/
Quote: | Report: DEA conducts surprise inspections of visiting team doctors
Amid allegations that NFL team physicians and athletic training staffs have improperly provided potent pain medications to players, the federal government apparently is taking action. Finally.
According to ESPN.com, the Drug Enforcement Administration “conducted surprise inspections” on Sunday. The DEA looked at medical and athletic training staffs of visiting NFL teams, exploring whether federal drug laws were violated. The goal was to determine whether they violated federal drug laws governing the handling and distribution of prescription painkillers.
John Barr of ESPN.com reports that the inspections arose from a federal lawsuit filed earlier this year, which claims that team physicians and athletic trainers illegally distributed painkillers to help players continue to play. Barr also reports that DEA agents intended “to inspect the medical bags of visiting team doctors for prescription drugs while alongside Transportation Safety Administration screeners.”
It makes sense for the DEA to explore this. What doesn’t make sense is that the DEA waited so long to investigate what has been an open secret for years, if not decades.
Surely, the feds knew or should have known or at least should have suspected that something didn’t add up when it comes to football players finding ways to play football while injured. Why did it take a civil lawsuit to light a fire under the authorities to explore something that, if anything, teams quite possibly would have stopped doing now that litigation is being pursued? |

I expect the rams to finish around 7-9, 8-8. On par with Fisher's MO _________________ Lakers Cardinals Rams |

They could win the NFC South with that record but they're in the NFC West though... |

Jeez.
The Harrison/Gronk breakdown on NBC really lets you see how big Gronk is, when you compare him to an All-Pro in Harrison, a physically safety. |

lol.
I'm hoping for 6-10.
We've seen 7-9 division winners, lets shake it up a bit.
I'd ask for 5-11 but I doubt the scheduling allows that. |

LOL did you guys hear that? One of the Colts' plays was called, "Lakers." Do you call that an audible in football?
Edit: they gave it to "Coby" Fleener the next play. Makes sense. |

Yes its an audible
I also heard that.
Don't think it will trend like "Omaha" though
Manning used "Romo" vs the Chargers earlier in the season. |

I expected Denver to lose to the Rams they haven't beaten the Rams on the road since 1982.
That and Jeff Fisher knows Manning rather well they have a good defense their offense is the question mark. | it was only the 4th meeting though so thats not a big pool of games to even judge anything. |

People expected the Pats to score 40+ points but not like that. They just straight up punched Indy right in the mouth. |

I just don't understand what they are trying to do sometimes.
Tavon Austin has gotten lost in the shuffle.
Watch us preserve him, so another team can get him on the cheap in a couple of years. |

I feel bad for Carr.
Young QB doesn't deserve this, especially with how harshly they are judged.
They may draft a top signal caller, and it'll be the end of his career possibly. |

Rams D looks decent, if they even had an average offense they'd be in the playoff race.
I know OT was a need, but can you imagine if STL had gone with Khalil Mack instead of Greg Robinson?
I think they just don't really understand how to fully ultilize Tavon's skills. You don't really see many screen passes to put him out in the flat, you don't see them get creative to try and get him the ball either. |

Another less than impressive win by the 49ers but a win's a win I guess. Cards lost. and we got the Seahawks this Thursday.
The Niners put a beat down on RGIII today. I wonder if Gruden is going to follow through and bench him next week because he didn't play well again. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

I think RG3 might be better off with a different franchise to be honest. He didn't seem that bad to me today.
Denver barely won geez.
And the Colts were struggling vs the Jaguars. Its ridiculous. |

Quote: | Ravens bus involved in minor accident
Earlier this year, a Washington bus was involved in a crash that could have resulted in serious injuries, but didn’t. On Sunday in New Orleans, a Baltimore Ravens bus was involved in a far less significant accident.
According to CSNBaltimore.com, one of Baltimore’s six buses was involved in a minor wreck while taking personnel from the airport to the hotel.
The bus reportedly struck a car. No injuries were reported.
The Ravens face the Saints on Monday night at the Superdome. |
