He was smart to take the money. He was a flash in the pan and cashed in while he could. Just too bad he couldn't get a bigger contract, but so long as he's smart about it, he'll be fine. |
Didn't realize he got 2 years $8.55 million with the Cavs that's still a decent payout after taxes for a good run with the Lakers (edit: second year not guaranteed, so half that). |

A lot of people didn't think the Raptors or the Wizards were real, but seeing as how Lebron left Miami, there is a new order in the eastern conference. The Raptors and Wizards were top teams in the east last season, they are just continuing that this year. |

LOL, ESPN is showing the wrong score for the Cavs vs Raptors game on their page....
Somebody must want to relive last year. |

Cavs are at best the 4th best team in the East behind Toronto, Washington, and Chicago.
With the way they have been looking I'm not sure they would make the playoffs this season if they were in the West. |

Kevin Love is shooting 38% so far this year.
Also chew on this:

David Zavac @DavidZavac
Opponent's shooting at rim with Kevin Love in area: 65.7% With Tristan Thompson: 51.7% With Anderson Varejao: 48.4%
Lebron's magic touch with making his teammates better. |

Is it just me, or does anyone else not understand the fascination with Giannis? Good handles for a guy his size and he's mobile as most PGs, but that's all he has. |

The good news for the Knick faithful is that they finally won a game. The not-so-good news is that it was against Philly. The bad news is their tank has sustained a direct hit and probably won't be able to outtank them. |

20 points on 8/10 field goals!! Marc looks like an early MVP candidate in my book. I hope the Grizzlies can keep up their amazing play in the second half. _________________ http://tinyurl.com/zhjax5w

My Pacers aren't going anywhere so I'm throwing all my support to the Grizzlies to win it all I like their style of play and there are two Indiana products on that team(Z-Bo and Conley) |

Anybody notice that the Clippers are regressing this year? 2 years ago, they would've had the advantage versus the Grizzlies, last year they were about even, this year they are getting blown out by them. |

After a tough year, Grizzlies seem to be on the same page from the GM to the coach to the players. Not sure if the same could be said for Doc Rivers' team, his players might be tuning out ubuntu and embracing their inevitable mediocrity. |

A healthy Grizzlies team and warriors team are the top in the west to win it all I believe. Dark horse is Dallas I wouldnt want to play against. Spurs are great and the former champs but can never repeat. |

Pau and Rose back today, both looking good. Rose a little loose with his passes, but he's hitting the three well. Jimmy Butler continues to look amazing. Lakers need to offer him a max and pray Reinsdorf is too cheap to match. |

Some will disagree but personally I think the Grizzlies style of play is boring. They overwhelm the Clippers defense but in the last few years that offense has been ugly to watch against other playoff teams. I also don't like them being compared to the Lakers when the Lakers had Gasol/Bynum/Odom. The Lakers also had Kobe. Huge difference.
I still think the Grizzlies got robbed with that Randolph suspension against OKC however. In my opinion that was one of the worst suspensions I've ever seen.
I think the teams that are most fun to watch are San Antonio and Golden State. The beatdown San Antonio put on Miami in the Finals was beautiful to watch. |

The Knicks Tank rolls on. Carmelo out in the second half with back spasms. |

Bulls eke one out. Pau played well, missed a couple of bunnies in the paint down the stretch. Rose looked pretty good. Butler continues to amaze. Also had to laugh at Butler getting in Snell's face after Hayward missed the shot that might have won it for not switching on the brush screen and giving Hayward a look that Pau contested. |

Good stats from Pau today, but overall poor game from both him and the Bulls. Nuggets were hot, but the Bulls d was terrible. Butler continues to look like the most improved player in the NBA. Damn, I want that guy on the Lakers so damn bad. |
