Jose Calderon 5-7 and Pablo Prigioni 4-4 from 3pt. Keeping the Knicks in the game without Melo.

They'll get better once Calderon is back. He is the glue to running that offense

You called it, Calderon's been huge today. They're still in this game with hot outside shooting.

Popovich isn't coaching tonight vs Pacers in fact he might miss the next couple of games due to undergoing a "minor medical procedure"

Ettore Messina will be interim coach.

The ball goes into JR Smith and he turns it into a brick.

But not that time.
Ties the game and it will go into overtime.

Yeah.... the Knicks Tank took on a Calderon anti-tank missile, but the reliable JR Smith brilliantly guided the tank out of trouble with key bricks and head-scratching decisions.

Mirotic's coming out party continues. Guy was a beast today, getting some nice scores and boards, and coming up huge with five big blocks. Even when Butler is off, he finds a way to score and gets to the line (actually getting hit, not just throwing his head back aka Harden). Noah looks like Noah again, grabbing big boards and sending shots back. Pau with has traditional early game doldrums, missing a grip of easy looks, but stepping up big himself with a game leading 15 boards.

Celtics aren't a great team, but if the Bulls stay healthy they have as good a shot as anyone in the East of making the finals.

Cleveland if they miraculous gel between now and the post-season is the only chance imo. Wizards/Toronto I don't think can withstand Bulls depth. Bulls are freaking loaded and have a top tier coach to boot.

Good thing Mo Speights decided to save Curry and Thompson today. Insane performance from him today in the fourth. Second in a week, I think.

Just checked box score. I don't think I've ever seen Steph shoot that bad from 3 before. 1-10. Yikes.

I think this will always be the downfall of a jump shooting team especially in the playoffs. If those shots aren't falling, you may be in serious trouble

That's why Bogut going down was so detrimental for them last year. David Lee is "power" forward that has no presence around the basket. Bogut will get you a few easy putbacks, finishes and a handful of post moves a game. That's not even considering his defensive presence.

80-36 Hawks over the Hornets.... the league might want to fix these constant blow-out loses happening frequently.... the competitive nature of the game is almost non-existent.

Warriors look better without Lee. Green isn't the scorer Lee is, but the Warrior's d is much, much better with Green on the floor instead of Lee. Bogut absolutely has to stay healthy, though. He's also a great facilitator for them with his size and passing ability.

What's quickly becoming a mainstay for the Bulls: Butler and Pau both playing well today, Butler extraordinarily so. Unfortunately the Bulls keep turning the ball over and Rose has been taking some terrible shots.

Nikola Mirotic might be a sleeper for RoY. He's been stringing together some pretty good games recently.

Watching Thibs on the sideline is almost as fun as watching the game itself. Guy is super engaged, screaming out instructions every moment of the game. Watching him get low in a defensive stance when Mirotic was on Telelovic, almost like he was trying to show Mirotic what to do, was high comedy.

Edit - Butler by far the Bulls' best player right now. If he keeps it up and the Bulls stay healthy enough to challenge for one of the keague's top records, he might get some rumbles for MVP. He's a beast on both ends.

Agree with all your Bulls posts. Pau looking solid overall (yay!), Mirotic looking highly promising and Butler looking like a future star.

What became of McBuckets?
