Looks similar in concept to the 1st film. Except the park is officially open and quite crowded. I'll of course see this in theaters, but after the last 2 films, expectations are low.

And are those "trained" raptors running alongside Starlord in the end there? Lol. I'm curious to see what kind of rides / shows they feature in the park. That aspect seems really cool. Looked like a bit of wild animal Park mixed with Sea World.

The CGI looks worse than it did 20 years ago.

They even made the Jurassic Park DOOR cgi! There's an *actual* door in existence already that they don't have to reproduce, it's already on studio property! And they animated it.

Yea... I got a bad SyFy channel vibe with that water-saurus leaping out of the water scene. Hopefully this is not the finished product.

Hmm, i've always equated Chris Pratt & Judy Greer to comedic roles. I couldn't stop smirking at the trailer as Andy was trying to be serious (or was he?). Bryce Dallas Howard looks hot as the dino scientist though.

Someone should pitch a movie starring Chris Pratt, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo, and that gonk who plays Jim from the office. I don't know what it would be about but it would be the most boring thing in screen history.

You mean the entire cast of the show? Agree.

Returns is questionable. At best, Spielberg's just collecting a paycheck and taking a tour of filming once in a while. Honestly, when they have to tap into the well of further genetic experimentation, the well is dry.

Did the piano theme near the end of the trailer remind anyone of the Incredible Hulk TV series?

Also, the sound that the bioengineered dinosaur makes is similar to a Transformer.

Jurassic Park was my favorite movie growing up until the Star Wars SE's came to theaters. Heck, I even liked The Lost World. But the third sucked hard because it was goofy and tried too hard with a superdinosaur to generate any interest. Those last two, and especially the latter, are featured too prominently in this one.

Jurassic Park is the movie that inspired me to follow my career path.

One of my classmates even worked on the movie. She didn't do anything that actually appeared in the movie. She just created the island on a big table, so that the directors could plan their shots and stuff. I think it took her 3 months to make.

The 2nd one had promise. But the token black kid who kicked the crap out of the raptors with her gymnastics was one of the most face palm worthy moments in cinematic history.

I'm sure it's a continuation of the series, but it feels more like a proper reboot.

^ It seems like a sort-of reboot like the new Transformers(although I hope to god it's no where near that garbage quality) which still happens in the same place but is set years later so none of the human characters are the same.

The only thing that can save this movie is if it turns out to be a Guardians of the Galaxy sequel.
