and the whole "carrie sleeping with the guy that might be a terrorist" was a rehash of what happened with brody.

the season so far is meh. i still love watching it, but it definitely has lost its appeal compared to seasons 1-3 for me.

It has its weaknesses, but much tighter than season two, and much more enjoyable without Brody.

Another solid episode. They're doing a good job of staying unpredictable. Sure I didn't really think Saul would kill himself but there was a small part of me that thought it might happen. But the meeting at the end of the episode, interesting.

Yeah, suspension of disbelief is fine, but her character makes no sense at all anymore. She makes the entire organization look ridiculous. The CIA director shows up in Pakistan, she freaks out, and she just goes to her apartment and takes a nap. No one attempted to see what's up with her after a while? Previously, she decides to have sex with a kid for a couple days, and there's no way to contact her? She turns off her cellphone and she's suddenly unreachable? There's no way to contact a station chief in an emergency situation in a safe house? It takes some disgraced professor to discover that there's something seriously wrong with Carrie? ... The show is losing it.

Doesn't the CIA already know about her bipolarism? I thought that came out when she had to testify before Congress back in Season 2 or 3. Lockhart was the head of that oversight committee back when he was a Senator.

She seemed pretty open about discussing her theory about how ISI tampered with her meds.

It fooled me. I thought they were going to kill him off. Saul's character has pretty marginalized since he was forced out of the CIA.

nice episode. Carrie is sort of a rock star in the CIA, and she has the director's balls in her hands. how'd you think she forced her way to being station chief in the first place?
disappearing for more than 24 hrs is not a big thing for a person of her stature... she has the benefit of the doubt, a lot of it.

Wow! Last night I finally watched "There's Something Else Going On", the ninth episode from 11/23. Along with "Halfway to a Donut," the show has really become glued-to-your-seat-Breaking Bad-entertaining. This last one is as good as any from season one.

That exchange scene was so intense. It felt like the final showdown of a great movie.

That would be Inigo Montoya of--"My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." or "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."--Princes Bride fame. Or in real life, Mandy Patinkin. And yes, his best work since season one.

I love the Part part when Saul was on the floor and wouldn't get up. He said: F it, the kid thinks he's going to heaven.

First time I saw that female ISI agent earlier in the season, I thought, "wow, she looks beautiful." So I finally googled her, and it turns out she's a famous Bollywood actress from India.

Yeah that was great. Saul in the past few episodes has been great. So many emotions and then he was just done. He couldn't care.

I knew that Mozart-killing mother (bleep) had to be dirty.

Also, Carrie's daughter has to be the ugliest god damned baby I've ever seen, and I've seen some doozies.

We don't know if he's dirty or not. We really have no idea why he's there. Maybe Haqqani thinks Dar Adal is on his side, but the latter is playing him in a long con. The CIA director seems to be out of the loop and will resign soon.

This episode felt mostly as the episode before the finale type of episode. Quinn goes through all of that and nothing happens in the end. Dar Adal's appearance somewhat saved a boring hour.

This show is slowly turning into 24 and I don't like that.

Was anyone else bothered by Quinn's plan? All season long he's been battling his conscience regarding all the collateral damage caused by the CIA's tactics but he's perfectly fine with setting off a bomb in the middle of a crowd of civilians and police,.

No, I think it just shows how far Quinn was pushed and how personal the fight got for him that he felt he NEEDED revenge. It's his emotional reaction to the situation and something he would have regretted doing but in the moment, he was so set on his goal that he was blind to the consequences/collateral damage.

Is Dar Adal the mole in the CIA? Could he be the one that moved Brody's car?

Also I really didnt like how the drone queen stopped Quinn from setting off the bomb. Really goes against what her character has been all season long.
