Hopefully... because they are auditioning him for a trade.... you aren't going anywhere if Boozer or Sacre are getting significant minutes. |

Apparently Hill was "tired"?
Booze played more than Hill as well. Le sigh. |

Lin and Hill for Melo works if Hill waives his no-trade clause. |

I didn't mind that tonight. The Sacre-Davis frontline is better defensively than Hill-Boozer. |

Their +/- kicked the starting unit's ass tonight. |

Maybe Hill was fatigued. First time in his career he's been asked to play these minutes |

But defensively he sucked. Can't wait until Earl comes back then Ed will be back playing Center. |

Maybe because it worked? Sacre was doing very well. I'd rather see Sacre than Boozer out there. _________________ .

Sacre has the best +/- of the Lakers. Per 82games.com _________________ .

It's an even worse trade for the Lakers. |

I wish people would watch the games a bit more closely instead of "box-scoring" it.
Robert Sacre, for what he is - a back-up center - is very good. He's someone you can throw out there for 10 - 20 minutes a game and not have him embarass you.
Will he be DeMarcus Cousins out there? Dwight Howard? Marc Gasol? NO. If you're expecting that then do yourself a favor and lower your expectations for a 60th pick.
What he will do is contest shots (he might not always get the block.. but he's going to contest it) he'll set decent screens and he now has a reliable mid-range shot. I don't see why he wouldn't be extended after his deal expires. He's a good locker room guy and a value for what he is.
Jordan Hill is a far better player than Robert Sacre .. but there are times where Hill is lazy on defense. Unaware and out of position. Yes, he's an amazing rebounder, has a reliable mid range shot and can work iunder the basket .. but his defense is suspect. Robert gives you effort all the time.
And no, I'm not suggesting playing Jordan Hill less and Robert Sacre more. I'm just saying defensively, he may be a bit better than Jordan Hill. |

There won't be enough touches if Melo, Swaggy and Kobe are on the court at the same time. |

I'd say he's more of a 3rd string center at 5-8 minutes a game. He's a notch above a serviceable, stiff. |

this is why we need to trade Hill while his value is up before he injures himself due to fatigue. |
