Is this kid the most underrated player in this draft?

He's a true freshman averaging 5.8 assist and only turning the ball over 1x a game.

His team is undefeated so far this season and he's the floor general.

His only flaws so far have been his physical limitation but I believe that is being overstated. HIs quickness and change of pace is being underestimated. He seems to be getting wherever he wants on the court. His latest measurements have him listed as possessing a 6'5 wingspan which is great for his size.

Shooting 46% from the field, 36% from 3p, and 84% from the line. So, it's safe to say he works on his game during the offseason

The kid plays the game like a seasoned vet and with better poise than most of them in the NBA. I honestly feel like he should go top 5 this year but anything outside of the lottery is a steal.

Calling him a "sleeper" at this point is pretty dumb since we have no idea what his draft range would even be at this point, let alone what it will be by the end of the year. He was one of the top recruits in the country, he's hardly been ignored.

he's not ready. I would advise him to stay in school 1 more year. PGs his size take more time to develop - see Tyler Ennis as a recent example.

Ennis isn't an explosive athlete by any means.

Jones has a quick first step and better isolation ball-handling ability.

DJ Augustin type of player, good PG to come off the bench.
