great thread! And we will find out tomorrow I'll play

West
Starters: Curry, Bryant, Durant, Griffin, Gasol
Bench: Westbrook, Harden, Lillard, CP3, Davis, Cousins, Thompson

East
Starters: Wall, Wade, Melo, LeBron, Gasol
Bench: Butler, Irving, Bosh, Teague, Lowry, Horford, Milsap

*sidenote*

Since leaving LA Dwight goes from All-Star starter, to All-Star Bench, to not an all-star

The coaches choose three c/f; two guards; and two wild cards. So you can't have more than 4 guards making the team as backups. So the only way this flies is if the coaches call Harden or Thompson a SF. The coaches can be unpredictable so the backups could go a lot of ways.

Hard to imagine Aldridge not making the team, though.

Very true. Slide Aldridge in there for Klay and I'm still happy then

It will be interesting to see how they vote. A lot more deserving guys in the west than the east

West

Starters: Curry, Kobe, Davis, Griffin, Gasol
Bench: Harden, Paul, Lillard, Westbrook, Durant, Aldridge, Howard

East

Starters: Lowry, Wall, LeBron, Carmelo, Gasol
Bench: Teague, Wade, Irving, Butler, Bosh, Love, Millsap

Thompson may make it instead of Lillard, both of whom should be making it instead of Kobe.

KD was injured for a good while as well. If he were playing, Gasol would have been probably coming off the bench.

Find it so strange that Durant didn't got voted in as a starter. He needs a new PR team cause seriously a guy of his stature should get in no matter what. Heck Melo got in and he has sucked for the most part. And well biggest example if Kobe getting in last season playing 6 games.

The snubs are Lillard and Cousins.

But it's cool because Dwight Howard didn't make it

It's because the league and media has been trying to sell the ridiculous notion that where you play doesn't impact your Q rating in todays day and age. I garun-freaking-tee he would have led all voters if he played for the Lakers. The corpse of 90 year old Kobe playing the worse ball of his entire career by several orders of magnitude was voted in FFS.

I don't think injuries mean much for the fan vote portion. Fan's vote for their favorite players regardless of play (i.e. Kobe this year etc). KD evidently just doesn't have the juice.
