he could have been the mole from season 1... and yes, probably the one who moved the car too in season 2...
just curious why that Pakistani officer stopped Carrie because he noticed Dar Adal inside the car... _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. I actually liked the episode, it was definitely different from the rest of the season. It felt toned down and just real. Maybe it wasn't season finale material though, to that I agree. |

The thing I didn't like about the episode was we already know Carrie isn't going to walk away from the CIA so why even bother with the pretense?
We'll get a couple of episodes next season with Carrie trying to be a regular person and dealing with her bipolarism before Saul drags her back in. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

They basically announced Quinn's upcoming death. I still hope it doesn't happen. There will be tension between Saul and Carrie for a while, but they'll reconcile.
I was hoping they'd address the ambassador and her husband.
Not the most exciting finale, but it was okay. I felt the mother thing was just a way to give Quinn reasons to leave. Her mother and brother will probably never appear again. _________________ ¡Hala Madrid! |

I disagree for people who were saying "homeland is back to its roots this season!" or whatever. The show isn't as good as it was with brody, period.
This season was meh. I'm still looking forward to season 5, but with far less hype than usual. _________________ Dominating every day.

I thought this season was great. Way better than the last 2. Just the finale was a letdown. |

Yep. The end was nothing compared to the journey, but we must remember not to judge this show by a point in time, by one episode.
Though the end of the season feels much like the start of season three, with Carrie ostensibly estranged, I trust the writers can see new directions. Quinn's mission could really be one story theme along with the obvious treasonous and seditious conspiracy that "appears" to be developing.
Its been a good ride. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo" |

The season was going great but then the finale was just so boring and nothing seemed to have happened. |

Yes, and it is well beyond not bad. It may never reach season one, but it has suspense and intrigue like nothing else on TV. I don't believe there is a better show going. Though GoT, in its infinitely complex world, is in a league by itself, I would say Homeland is as entertaining. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo" |

You know an episode is good when you're so engrossed in the story you lose track of time. I didn't even realize it was near the end of the episode when the cliffhanger hit.
The past two seasons have been very good. The show got better after Brody and his family were written off. I almost quit watching during season 3 when Brody became a drug addict then later on he was a spy for the CIA. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Stopped watching when the beginning of season 4 started off slow.
Then last week I binge watched up to this weeks episode.
Hell of a cliffhanger like you're saying. Series finale this upcoming Sunday should be epic. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Another great season for Homeland. Kudos to the writers and the actors. They have avoided getting in a rut and have allowed the characters and their relationships to evolve to become complex and interesting, though flawed (often, very flawed).
And, it will be back next season. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo" |

Question for those that have already watched the season finale that contains a spoiler:
Did Carrie end up mercy killing Quinn at the end? I ask because there was the scene in the chapel where she saw the light and just as she was getting ready to kill Quinn the light again. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Yeah, the end of the terror plot happened so fast, that it lacked the tension that was so intense when the previous episode ended, but, those previous couple of episodes were, don't-you-dare-bother-me-with-a-question-or-phone-call, captivating. The very last scene was quite a finish that gives a sense of closure to the season--despite how one views the scene. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo" |

I wonder what new way the writers will devise to bring Carrie back into the fold next season. What would Saul do without her? How the heck does Saul keep rising back to the top of the CIA after all his slip ups? This time, he not only had a KGB mole as his Berlin Station Chief he was having sex with her to boot.
Moving slightly off-topic, has anyone else had a chance to check out that "Spymasters-CIA in the Crosshairs" documentary on Showtime? It's narrated by Mandy Patankin and features candid interviews from several former CIA Directors and high ranking field officers. Very interesting stuff. _________________ "Suck it up. kind of the point of the cliffhanger... but I say they figure out a way for him to survive to Season 6. _________________ ♪ ♫One good thing about music, when it hits, you feel no pain...
