Im on team tank as well but Young is too good of a scoring threat to get traded. We're going to need him for the next 4 years, brings instant offense off the bench. Hill should be traded, he's been the most consistent player on the team.

I don't mind Swaggy. Need some players who want to be on the Lakers. That much is evident. If the Lakers took a gamble on him I wonder why they are fearful of other possible projects. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

They had him on a one year contract before they extended him this off-season. Evidently it was enough to extend him to a multi-year deal (which is becoming a bigger and bigger bargain the more into the season we get).
have to admit i wasn't expecting the lakers to give young the contract he got but, with the kind of game he brings and the cap set to rise significantly, its beginning to look like a very smart signing...jordan hill also justifying that big contract the lakers gave him...didnt think these would lan out...

What I love about Swaggy P is that he has that tenacity to play with a guy like Kobe, handle his intensity, yet still be fun loving with the other players and media.
When you look back at it, most other Lakers have wilted under Kobe's intensity, Nick Young despite his reckless style, has handled the pressure just fine. Probably the first guy to earn Kobe's respect since Derek Fisher left.

If I was coaching, I wouldn't start Swaggy. But I'd have him playing 30 minutes a game. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

He is our 2nd best player. But he is also inconsistent. When he's hot play him the minutes even in excess of 30 minutes. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

He is shooting 43% from deep, which is better than his overall FG%. Think he can keep it up? It's impressive considering the majority of the 3s are off the dribble.

Nick Young is playing like the best player on the team. Davis is a close second.
