The New York Knicks are actively attempting to trade away Jose Calderon and Andrea Bargnani, according to sources.

But Amar'e Stoudemire is not a player the Knicks currently would like to deal.

Stoudemire is a free agent this offseason and has enjoyed his time with the Knicks, leading to the possibility of him re-signing at a reduced rate.

Calderon has two seasons left on his deal worth $15.1 million, which could make it difficult for the Knicks to trade despite interest across the NBA.

Bargnani holds little value after playing just 22 minutes this season and his expiring contract would likely only be used as salary filler.

Maybe 2 years ago, but not now, there's nothing they could do for this team.

Knicks problem from the start. Too many guys playing out their contracts. Guys with contracts don't want to/Can't play that style. No body is happy. The triangle devaluates players' market worth. Calderon is an odd case. His skills should be good for the triangle but he can't do what he does best, shoot. Maybe that Pippen/Kobe/MJ talent makes a difference. And Melo ain't that.
