This should be sent to Byron and Mitch ... in hope they can think.

I don't think it's just price, Scott simply do not like lin. The heat are playing with 2 pg most of the second half after wade went down, they had both chalmers and nappier a rookie closing the game.

anyways, I have lost hope in Laker's future with scott coaching, it doesn't matter what draft pick we get next year, scott will only play you if he likes you, no basketball reasons.

You can say that Kobe went shot crazy...but the question is, who did you want to take those shots in his place?

Someone not shooting 1 for 20? I mean, at least run some plays to get him open instead of chucking straight up.

He made a pretty amazing three to get them the chance to tie....I didn't like his decision making at the end, he could have gotten a better three out of a timeout....but out of all the players on the floor, who should have shot the three. Are you saying you'd rather have Price shoot it? Or Kelly? How about Wes?

Yes, Kobe was crummy tonight, his shot is FUBAR, but those tough shots under duress are his bailiwick.

Nick should have been out there for the close...but Byron kept him out. Even with his poor shooting, I'd still call him a viable second option to take the shot.

You need to separate your nostalgia of Kobe from reality. So far this year, the ball boy can shoot better if give the minutes. Kobe needs to work in a team system to get himself open for easier shots by cutting or posting if there is an advantage. All I see in the last 5 minutes are ISOs from him with super low efficiency. I would rather have wes or Ellington shoot more if they are open.

Can't and shouldn't blame Ronnie Price. He's just making the most of his opportunities. Plus his name is Ronnie. Make that money Ronnie!

I think the new Starting line up is really hurting Kobe game and his health...

Kobe at his age needs another aggressive playmaker in the starting line up so that he can go back to play SG.

the more we continue this lineup the more kobe will need rest.

well, I had this thought when the lineup change was announced.
and shortly afterward, kobe goes into full chuck mode, misses games, came back to play pg, and misses more games, and that lineup change still sucked.

The only thing improved was black instead of sacre for the bench. Our bench is actually a good team when swaggy some how gets out of the shooting slump

Yeah, it's really too bad we don't have a decent point guard to put in the starting line-up.

Ronnie Price 0 points in 32m and we lose by 3.
I have to believe that any of the three guys who DNP could have scored 4 points in 32m - even Sacre.

This game summarize the whole agenda and that is to tank Lin is the only one playing good IMO and he got taken out and I am not a fan of Lin but he is one of the 3-4 players in the lakers this game that is not playing crap and he got taken out.

Its unfair to blame Kobe on this even though his shooting percentage is crap he is distributing most of the time and thats what most folks here want but in the 4th when you mostly have bigs that can't post up and a PG that can't shoot even wide open I don't fault him on taking those shots. If Lin/Young is on the floor when Kobe did this I would blame him also.

BTW I am not one of the die hard 2014/2015 Lin Fans

Good post, you don't have to be a die-hard Lin fan to notice that he got the shaft yesterday by BS's Snakehead. All joking aside, I don't blame Price either, he's trying his best out there it's not his fault he's being tossed into the snake pit. I can see how he can get easily rattled by it....sorry, can't help myself.

The sad thing (unless you're on Team Tank) is that it was a game for us to win. Aside from the nice 16-0 start, the Heat were just putrid throughout the rest of the game without Wade. I've seen High School teams play better than these 2 teams last night.

Price just had a 12 assist game in the previous one against Portland. Does Kobe really need to play point guard?

wassup with Scott's mancrush on Price? he still got a lot of burn after leading the team to an 18-0 hole that they could not get themselves out of...

edit: are Wayne, Sacre and Lin gonna be traded soon? DNPs and least minutes played imo for Lin.
