Are any of the current Laker PG's better than Smush Parker was during his tenure as a Laker? When they've been given the opportunity that Smush was given, have any of them shown the capacity to be as consistently productive as Smush was? Are any of them better defenders than Smush? _________________ I'm On point, On task, On message, and Off drugs. A Streetwise Smart Bomb, Out of rehab and In denial. Smush was a pretty good PG before he started thinking he was great. Good offense and some good defense. Unfortunately his head got in the way. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Lin's right pinkie finger has more talent than Smush Parker.
Comparatively, Ronnie Price makes Smush Parker look like Jason Kidd.
Clarkson we've seen way too little of him to judge. He looks like a huge bust at times, shows flashes of a good player at other times. |

Yep. If one ignores the hate that's attached itself to him since his Laker days, he was actually a pretty good PG for that squad - right up until his head got in the way. He certainly produced at a more consistent rate than any of the current crop of PG's. _________________ I'm On point, On task, On message, and Off drugs. Yeah, I'd go with all. Attitude counts for something, and really, as his subsequent attempts at sustaining a basketball career showed, it was just Phil and super Kobe who made Smush look like something other than the complete scrub he was for a while. Never even should've been in the NBA. |

For one shining playoff moment, Smush is still the guy who stole the ball from Nash and drilled a three in his face in crunch time.
However, beyond that, he Still deserves every bit of razzing Kobe ever delivered or ever will. |
