They should go to China for another couple of preseason games IMO so that in his last season the Chinese fans can see Kobe actually play unlike last time _________________ Kobe |

Also the preseason games are 2 hours later so its fine for us on the west coast. Frankly, I missed the Hawaii preseason games, wonder why they stopped doing it. |

I like it. I mean the team can build on chemistry there and get to know each other better. |

I like the sound of that. Makes me hope that things are slowly getting back to normal. Going back to our roots, so to speak. |

These clowns on 710 were stoked about the team returning to Hawaii, saying this sends a nice message about the franchise , like FA would choose the Lakers because they play meaningless games in Hawaii.
Umm how about addressing the things FA really want, like being competitive - good team, good coach, good management etc.. Don't try to sell a mansion because there's an apple tree in the back. And let's not forget the legacy of a coaching/medical staff that is continually having to deal with injuries - one has to wonder, with this string of injuries something does stink in Denmark. Call it curse, poor training, pushing players too hard, whatever, but there's no denying coming to the Lakers might end your career. |

I was actually an athlete at the Univ. of Hawaii when the Lakers were there in 2003, and I remember being within feet of Kobe while he was doing low weight leg presses in the "athlete weight room." I also remember that he worked out separately from the rest of the team, and I'm unsure whether it was because he was recovering from injury and was on a different schedule, or if he was just being Kobe, but he always had 3 security guards surrounding him at all times. This was also during the whole Colorado thing, so I remember there being a lot of media buzz around our facility at the time, understandably. None of my teammates, or I, or any other athletes approached him, but I was definitely holding back on any excitement from being completely starstruck. I did, however, run into Luke Walton and said hello, and he was a super nice guy.
The end. _________________ In Rob I trust. |

I remember the legendary performance in China in the closing quarter of the Olympic Gold Medal game against Spain. Vintage Kobe in full assassin mode. |

Yup. That was a great performance the whole world saw. Kobe was right in his element that game. |
