No sighting lately.. Anyone know why? It's not like Lin is playing with much to show for... I gotta think they are getting backlash from the fans about Scott's love affair with price.

I think its just Scott giving all the guards (Price, Lin, Clarkson) their fair shot. it started with Lin then Price and now Clarkson.

I guess Price should get some playing time but oh well

I think Byron knew all along that Price was a 3rd string PG.

All of the Price talk and playing time earlier was an attempt to motivate Lin and see if they could get him to have a chip on his shoulder.

It's not worth doing that anymore.

I'd guess he wants to give Clarkson some run to develop him, and is giving Lin the backup minutes instead of Price, because Lin may have trade value. One of those three will be the odd man out.

Byron is an idiot who makes robotic substitutions based on 15-20 game blocks and not what's going on.

I was a big critic of playing Ronnie too much but c'mon, he deserves SOME playing time.

It's like every Lakers fan knows what the solution is except Byron.

You guys were crapping on Ronnie Price all this time, saying he took over minutes from Lin all while contributing nothing offensively and now you want him to get playing time??? GTFO....

The front office is what happened, probably forced Byron hand to play Clarkson. Clarkson should have been playing from the start, Price is a 31 year old 3rd string PG that won't be with the Lakers next year.

Price is BS's boy. He is guaranteed a position on next year's squad for his defensive capabilities. The rest he is giving playing time to is audition.

Ronnie doesn't need to play.

Opinions change to justify a continued hatred of Scott. I get it. Scott deserves criticism. There's many things he should be doing different. But all the conspiracy theories regarding favoritism is just growing old. Scott obviously coaches the game in a different way than most of us would. But IMO it still involves what he sees in practice and what he wants our system to be. Scott is still our coach. So I will still support him and root for him. Even though I would prefer an alternative. Just like I will continue to root for ALL of our players. No matter what drama is cooked up against them.

I'm thinking Price was getting playing time because he fit Kobe's slow ball style better than any other guard. With Kobe gone Price isn't getting the chance to play anymore.

Guarantee there will be zero teams interested in Ronnie Price, there's kids in the D-League that would be more productive and cheaper.

^ The difference between adding D-League player or getting Price is quite different IMO..... Price is a floor general and is a good locker-room guy and has nice influence on players... that is a big thing when it comes to winning in the playoffs.

Coach Scott can't count to three.
He has only two-player rotations for each position.

It's all part of Coach Scott's 20 games-at-a-time experiment with different line-ups.
