Which of these three is the best PG in the league right now? I think I'd take Westbrook. Complete monster on both ends of the floor. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
I'd take Curry, but CP3 is very close. Curry's shooting and insanely quick release just puts it over for me because it forces the floor to be spread. He can never be left alone.
I see Westbrook as the most potent offensive force among the three. I'm just not sure that I can depend on him to be a proper floor general that will rally the entire team and make them all perform better.
paul isn't the same player he use to be imo. _________________ "It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up."-The Greatest

Haven't watched any Clipper games. Has CP3 lost a step? I mean at his absolute prime, he was better than Curry's current prime.
As for Westbrook. People are mesmerize by his athleticism, but nobody talks about his shooting. He's not a great shooter and with him prone to going 5 for 20 every other night, OKC will never win a title.

The amount of great pg right now is staggering, just think about where Deron Williams was ranked just s couple of years ago. _________________ .....

Absolutely. I'm amazed at the Curry love. I mean, he's ballin' no doubt, but he's just not the beast RW is. _________________ “It took many years of vomiting up all the filth I’d been taught about myself, and half-believed, before I was able to walk on the earth as though I had a right to be here.”

Westy is a beast for sure, but I like Curry's game a hair breadth's more. Curry's smarter and healthier. Factor in RW's knee problems (three years of the past four now) and I'd never look back if I chose Curry.

RW's knees, Steph's ankles ... I'm not sure I would favor Curry over Westbrook on the basis of health / propensity for injury ...
To be sure, there are aspects of RW's game that suggest that injury is always just around the corner (I'm sure someone in the allied health field can properly opine on this issue, but the explosiveness that's at the core of Westbrook's game just seems a little incompatible with the limits of "normal" human anatomy and physiology; maybe that's not an issue, I don't know) ... but he has played in the full 82 games in 4 of his 6 complete seasons (albeit not last season or prospectively this season, of course). Steph has never played 82 games in a season to date; however, I expected to see more missed games when I reviewed his data. It "seems" that he has sat for extended periods quite often over the years. Regardless, I don't think of either as Gehrig or Ripken.
At this point, I would opt for Westbrook without much hesitation ...
