Played at Marquette. Athletic, tough, undersized shooting guard. I don't remember him having any point guard skills.

Link LA Lakers Should Give D-League Stud Vander Blue an Extended Look This Season says, quote:
Quote:
Still, rules are rules—hardship exceptions can allow a team to increase its roster to 16, but only when four players are sick or injured for longer than two weeks.

OK, how about the fact that these four players that started the season are out for the rest of the year—Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Julius Randle and Xavier Henry (albeit the last no longer a Lakers player but still four players gone from the start of the year.... or is Xavier disqualified because Black replaces him? .... probably so darn it)

If he gets the call up, Sacre Blue Kelly Clarkson will have all had a stint with the Dfenders.

He looked like a good scorer but based on what I saw Clarkson is already 5 times better.

D-League players don't earn a lot of money. He has to do two jobs in order to get by

I've actually watched a bit of Blue playing in his college days. He has game, but is an undersized sg. Definitely not a pg.

If he was 6'6", he probably would be an nba rotation player. I haven't watched him play in the last year or so, maybe he's improved his game??
