he has lost confidence with his shot prolly because he's not allowed to look for his shot earlier else he gets benched.

Not allowed to look for his shot does not make sense, even for BScott.

He had 10 contested shots and only 2 uncontested according to player tracking, and going up against good defenders, so it's not surprising that the FG% was low.

Even still, he missed makable shots. Some of the drives he missed just by a tick, he usually makes those.
