Quote:
MIAMI -- Goran Dragic wanted a new home, and the Miami Heat wanted a new point guard.

They were a perfect match in a move that was among the biggest on the busiest NBA trade deadline day in 25 years in which 39 players changed hands.

Dragic
Wade
Deng
Bosh
Whiteside

That team looks pretty strong on paper.

Heat/Cavs 1st round. Please make that happen.

In the West, OKC/GSW could happen in the 1st round.

Great trade. I hope they play the Cavs in the postseason and somehow, someway, beat them.

I never ever thought I'd be saying this, but LET'S GO HEAT!!!!!

Pretty sure Riley will keep Dragic. Come free agency, Laker's pitch will fall flat. Jim Buss talking vs Pat Riley talking, different end of the spectrum.

Best FA chance right now is Rondo with Kobe doing the talking.

wtf phoenix? I don't understand this trade at all.

Might be true that the Heat score big in free agency. At least compared to the Lakers with Jim and Jeanie "fighting" and one useless coach after the other...

Sucks for the Heat that this move was immediately followed by Bosh probably being out for the season.

In the years since the Snaq trade, I can't remember another divorce that wound up being so messy in the media. The Decision was about free agency, not a trade demand. Kobe in '07 qualifies, I guess, even though there was never a divorce. I'm probably forgetting a few, but nonetheless I was surprised that this one got so nasty.
