Does this mean there is a chance he may need surgery again next season for the foot? or is it implying had he played the season he would've had to during the season?

It means that during THIS season he may have needed surgery. He took care of it, though, so it's not going to be a problem moving forward from what I gathered... |

Its concerning that he's had a broken foot and also a broken Tibia in a very short time span. Hopefully the Lakers have him on some supplements to help him with these issues. |

The foot issue dates back to high school. |

Yes, I know from his junior year I believe, its still something to be concerned with. Trevor Ariza was prone to these issues and they put him on some supplements I'm just curious if they are doing the same with Julius. |

Clarkson is the equivalent of a Lottey Pick player, too.
And Ellington, hope we keep him. |

I don't see what one has to do with the other except for a coincidence. |

Thanks for that article! I like Julius even more now! Getting off the pain killers, writing scouting reports, and learning from Kob speaks volumes to this kid's mental toughness.
Sometimes you have to take a risk on who your franchise players will be. My gut says Julius Randle. JRock30. |

maybe, any statement of a lottery pick should be made in 3 weeks. things can change, such as lakers moving out of 5th contention just as well as moving into being 3rd, when it's all said and done.
as of right now, we are the 4th worst team and that is fact. every thing else, is opinionated, pessimistic and optimistic driven. not saying one should be optimistic about a lottery pick, because it's based around losing; i'm saying if a lottery pick is what one wants, and it seems they might not get it, because a few wins caused them to think the worst, they are being pessimistic. if one is confident the lakers are gonna get a lottery pick, they are being optimistic. |

3 weeks from now doesn't mean whining about losing the pick when we have the pick isn't really dumb. And 3 weeks from now we will still be in the bottom 5. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Update: Julius Randle has been cleared for on court basketball activity (he's jumping/shooting right now), but not for contact drills.

Randle saw a doctor yesterday, who cleared him for increased activity. Good sign/step for the rookie to get onto the court.

He's just cleared to put weight on his leg. Pretty long ways to go before playing NBA level ball. But it starts with a first step. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |
