Probably more than the Lakers would want to pay. Perhaps $10 million at a minimum and towards the $12 million area.
The trade of Knight and the buyout of Sanders could have larger implications in that Milwaukee will have sufficient Cap Space to contest with the Lakers and other teams for some Free Agents. It could make it more difficult for other teams to lowball Free Agents if the Bucks are also participating this Summer.
Marc Gasol might be too expensive for the Bucks to chase, but pursuing players (Robin Lopez?) in the $12 - 14 million area might be doable.
If MCW is able to improve his outside shot and stay healthy, the Bucks could be a very nice team. |
