I think Dragic is overrated. Not max worthy. No way the Spurs let Leonard go. He's their future.

I didn't realize being a Laker fan and being a fan of Kobe was mutually exclusive. The more you know.

LOL @ you being here this long and never seeing the two camps. For some of these guys, it would be a dream for this website to be changed to KobeGround.net!

That's true. And for Lin newcomers LG was thought to be LinGround.net.

There's a little bit of everything out there....

I can say it in Spanish too. NO.

Rondo is a not a team player.

No to Rondo, unless it is for the MLE ... and even then I think we'd be overpaying. I have said previously that 2011 Rondo is a borderline Max player. 2014/2015 Rondo looks like training camp fodder.

If Rajon Rondo is the answer, it's a pretty stupid question.

That's a triple double if he plays starters minutes.

And people still won't even entertain the idea?

i like Clarkson.. he's turning out to be a decent pick up.

I could come back with rondo's best game his rookie year.. but seriously.. people just can't seem to get over their hate even if it means the team is better.

Rondo is a good player. is he worth the max? hell no.. but if we can get him at a discount.. why not.

Kobe and Byron can reel him in. Rondo respects Kobe and Byron continues to mentor CP3

This is presently the worst thread on LG IMO. And given the OP's posts I am not surprised.

It's one thing to "respect" each other when not teammates. It's another when the other person is constantly wanting to have the offense run through him.

If Kobe is hurt again, and retires in 2016, who is going to "reel in" Rondo? (Scott IMO is gone by 2016 too).

Rondo hasn't meant the team is better since about 2010. Dallas is worse after trading for him.

Or what the hell are we going to do with Rondo when Kobe does return and starts dominating the ball? At least Clarkson can play SG, Rondo can't shoot. He would be useless. And yes, Kobe will return to dominating the ball.

So folks were saying that Rondo was just chilling after KG/Pierce/Allen/Doc all left him. Ok. (More like he was hurt 50% of the games).

The excuse was that he needed to play on a championship level squad to get going. Ok. So he goes to Dallas and that team has played worse overall with him.

What's the next excuse?

I'm not really sure what I did to you to warrant personal attacks.

That aside, no matter how many bananas you threaten to kill, Rondo is a very real free agent that threatens to become a Lakers next season. He definitely deserves a thread that we can either vent or cheer in.
