February cleanse is done.
Had a jack and coke after classes today.
Tasted sooo good. So happy it's March.
Glad I chose the shortest month of the year to do a cleanse. #cheat_the_system

I just don't understand the proliferation of beards these days. Great. You're ironic and too cheap to buy a razor. Whoopee.

Me neither. I've been wearing a beard for over 20 years and suddenly everybody has started to copy me. As if I did look good or anything.

Beards are almost a necessity to me when I go back East.

But with all the sun in LA, there's no need for face warmers

The beard only comes out during a playoff run or No Shave November.

I have to admit, when the hipsters start to copy what i look like, i get a little nervous.

I like my beard and my long hair. It speaks to how little I care about what my ex wife thinks.

At least you're in a cold weather environment which lends some utility to a beard, EB. There's really not much of a need for them in LA.

It was fine when they were confined to Silverlake, but once they start encroaching on the west side, it's just not acceptable. Except for the homeless, of course, who tend to confuse the hipsters by growing their beards with no irony intended.

Yeah, and I'm also in a college town lousy with hipsters and aging hippies. As I'm too old to be a hipster and younger than the og hippies, I generally get mistaken for homeless. It's a win, win, win.
