Lots of people crap on Byron this year, but this was the coach that got CP3 further in the playoffs than any other coach in his entire career...

CP3's reaction was gold.

He's made the Semi's 3 times with all 3 coaches he's played for...

I guess I should clarify that...
The Hornets were 1 victory away from the conference finals.
Hornets lost 4-3 to the Spurs in 2008
Clippers lose 4-0 to the Spurs in 2012
Clippers lost 4-2 to the Warriors in 2014.

Great win for the Bulls tonight! Moore with a career high and the game winning basket!

Westbrook somehow managed to make 3 horrible plays in the last 10 seconds to lose the game by himself.

That's wonderful.

Byron is still a (bleep) coach.

Great play read by Pau to kick it back out with Westbrook digging down, and insane shot by Moore. Mirotic has been amazing lately, too. He made Ibaka look like a fool tonight even with his shot off the mark.

Nba2k numbers right there. My PG somehow hit a 113 usage rate in 2k14. I have no idea how.

Obviously he's going to be having a high usage rating if he's averaging 32 PPG and 10 APG over a 10 game stretch. Insane numbers.

Loved that play. Pau kicked it out the second he touched the ball. Using him as a decoy in the post was great

Yeah, but that's not necessarily good for the team.

4-3 without Durant, with 2 of those losses coming down to the wire. Not too impressive, but he's holding down the fort with Durant out. But yeah, they're not going anywhere without Durant healthy. Shame that he's had an off season so far for his standards.

Durant v Westbrook is a practical lesson in efficiency vs volume

And there was a kinda Ibaka vs Mirotic thing in this game too, as they compete for a spot in the spanish national team.

Sadly the most expensive game I've watched so far, broke my glasses

Those were the kind of arguments people were using against 2006 Kobe.

Clippers beat the Warriors. They lost to OKC 4-2.

Hawks up on the Cavs 32-17 in the first quarter. This should be interesting.

Hawks win 106-97.

It's just one game but I am encouraged. Cleveland doesn't own the East yet.

DeMarre is as good a lebron defender as anyone and the Cavs have no idea how to stop Atlanta's offense.

Really hope the Hawks can keep playing like this in the playoffs. They're dominating the East. Give Lebron as much competition as possible.

And then this ...

http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201503070PHI.html

Last night's outcome may be helpful for us and I know they sat a few guys, but ...

Anyway, I suspect that Atlanta will struggle to execute and make it anything more than a five-game exit if they bump into the Cavs in the EC playoffs (maybe six games if Silver & Co. elect to highlight the new blood with extended play).

It's a different game in the playoffs (as we all now know), and similar to the way Chicago has been beaten down any time the Bulls have crossed paths with LeBron's teams (in 2010 [with Del Negro], 2011 and 2013) over the past five years, I tend to expect similar results with this Atlanta team ...
