Scottie Pippen also tweeted it so it sounds like its true.
Man that is sad. Played at UCLA and with the Lakers. Was only 51. |

Sad news. I always loved his enthusiasm on Lakers game day coverage. Him and Paul Westphal going at it was great TV. |

Damn, I sold some jewelry to him before. Can't believe it. He was such a cool dude. Sucks big time if true. _________________ "The best there is. The best there was. The best there ever will be.", said Bret Hart regarding the Los Angeles Lakers. |

The Lakers issued a statement, so it's true. |

Very sad. Quiet as it's kept, Jack was the unsung hero of that 2nd Bulls 3peat. It was his job to babysit Rodman (who was at the peak of his wild and weird times) and get him to shootarounds at all costs. He was a good guy (and fellow Bruin) who loved being a good teammate and he loved the Lakers. What a loss for his family. _________________ So glad we gave you your flowers while you were here, Kobe. |

Yeah I remember an interview back in the day when his wife (at the time) was on with Roy Firestone at halftime (or maybe it was pre-game). She was talking about how absolutely ecstatic he was at playing for the hometown Lakers. I enjoyed him on the Lake Show. God forbid we have some enthusiasm in the studio. |

I believe they used a play on that for the segment of the Lake show and called it "Haley's Comment". |

Unfortunately, most people don't even know they have heart disease when they drop dead all of a sudden. |

There's a Sopranos where they're sittin there and they say that line at a funeral. Paulie: "Heart disease..." Silvio: "The silent killer..." Tony: (uncomfortable burp). Chrissy says in a later ep that the way Tony eats, he's gonna die of a heart attack by the time he's 50. In another ep, Vito postulates that Tony could drop dead outta nowhere, (maybe a) "corornary...". Sad seeing those and that posthumous Wounded Warriors commercial with Jimmy The Gent. He was cut short of a full showing of his caring personality and generosity. One of those people that got "to your core" in just a short meet, mutual bond/understanding, that kinda thing. His last meal was decadent to put it lightly. He reportedly had a bunch of foix gras on top of a large Italian sampling. His kid had to come into his bathroom and discover him lifeless. Died alone on the bathroom floor. The common end of many a celeb for one reason or another (PS Hoffman the last). _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL
