The Phillipines , Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, Korea, and Indonesia all came and broke off from China many , many moons ago.

Sure a lot of Flips, Thai's , Koreans, and Japanese' don't like to admit that but hey we Laker fans don't like to admit Jim Buss is our leader as well

Filipinos are considered "Asians" and their island is west of Vietnam, South of Hong Kong and North of Indonesia. They're considered a mix of Asian and Spaniard after the Spanish rule between the 1500's and 1800's.
