Yeah, pretty much meaningless, but then again, maybe not. |
Do you have stats for Puig? |
Puig .265 .324 .618 .942 |
And W-H-A-C-K dinger number five today.

Yeah, pretty much meaningless, but then again, maybe not. |
Grandal's offense is likely to struggle post-PEDs and it doesn't seem like there's any chemistry at all between him and Kershaw. That's not a surprise.
Kemp's numbers look good now but they'll plummet at Petco. But it's looking like the 2nd half Kemp is sticking around. |
Wouldn't surprise me to see AJ be Kershaw's personal catcher. |

That would mean Mattingley's got his tail between his legs. Pretty much everyone but Donnie knows AJ will be tied to Clayton's hips and should be. _________________ http://media.giphy.com/media/zNyBPu5hEFpu/giphy.gif

Will one of you diehards please update this thread with full roster and such upon conclusion of spring training?
It would help an old guy like me if you could lay out the starting position players/starting rotation and key relievers also.

I have a feeling something close to this might be the "real" Kemp. |

Fear not, we still have...Andre Ethier...
Man, I wish that Douchebacks trade for Montero went through. He was actually better at pitch framing than Grandal last year (RAA of 24.0 vs 12.8), for those that are interested, and we wouldn't have to give up as much. _________________ http://media.giphy.com/media/zNyBPu5hEFpu/giphy.gif

Diehard Duties. (I know this says 41, but with Withrow and Beachy on the 60 day, this should mean 39. My guess is that the team will add someone soon due to the pitching situation.)
Rotation:
Kersh
Greinke
Ryu eventually (Wieland or Huff the likely replacement)
Anderson
McCarthy
The Bully is still a mess with Jansen and League out.
The line up will look something like:
Rollins SS
Puig RF
Kendrick 2B
Gonzales 1B
Uribe 3B
Crawford, Eithier or Van Slyke LF
Peterson CF
Grandal or Ellis C
For what its worth, I predict 90 wins. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo" |

Yeah, pretty much meaningless, but then again, maybe not. |
Final Spring Training:
M Kemp .370 .393 .741 1.134 (4 HR, 14 ribeyes)
Grandal .203 .266 .305 0.571 (1 HR, 05 ribeyes)
Ramirez .263 .283 .404 0.687 (1 HR, 12 ribeyes)
To have an OPS of .571 against major-leaguers not there yet, minor-leaguers, wannabe's, and the who-the-hey-knows-who-those-guys-were, does not give me the warm and fuzzies. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo" |

The Dodgers better act now if they want a shot at an Upton; fortunately Kate is still available, unless Verlander decides he doesn't really need that extra 50% after all ... |

I didn't knew there were still people that thought spring training stats had any value. |

Padres have to be the favorites in the division. I have low expectations for the Dodgers this year. This off season was the first phase of cleaning up the mess Colletti left behind. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

if i learn anything it's that the percentage of preseason division favorite actually wins the division is kind of low for MLB, due to its extra long regular season and injury factors. no name players can get hot for no reason and the supposedly all stars would get into season long slump just as easily. |
