Depends on who we get in the draft. If we get a big - Dragic

If we get a guard, Jordan or Gasol.

Tobias Harris
KJ McDaniels
Goran Dragic
Aldridge
R. Lopez
Kawhi Leonard
Danny Green
Amir Johnson

I doubt Mac is coming so I'd be loking at

Plan A - DeAndre & Dragic

Possible- we could possibly get Monroe and M. Carroll / Robin & Carroll

And it'll our needs will depend on draft night as well....

Mitch may say "you're my #1 guy" to a bunch of people on July 1.

I think DeAndre or Monroe are the only guys we will have mutual interest in.. Maybe just maybe Love if the Cavs font win it all. I think DJ is the second coming of Howard and only will be valuable with other pieces that fit his style of play. But.... He does bring superstar label and is a nice piece to build upon. I'd rather have Love and Gasol but he seems the most realistic.

1. We need a PF who can play away from the basket. I wouldn't mind bringing Boozer back on the cheap or going after a veteran like David West who played under Scott. West and Jordan reminds me of West and Chandler. West can still play a good 2-3 years. Give him a decent contract as he plays out his contract he can also mentor a young Randle.

2. We need a point guard who can get him the ball by creating. for a year I like Andre Miller who will be cheap and can mentor Clarkson. I also like Aaron Brooks but Miller may be cheaper.

I'd say draft Justice Winslow, Dakari Johnson, and Melo Trimble.

Hibbert is someone that is starting to grow on me, and I would love to add him if we draft Mudiay or Winslow.

Chandler's age is a disqualifier for me. I think we have no chance with Gasol or Dragic so...

I would be content with Love.

With Chandler I see someone that can play great for 2 more years, and probably still pretty well for another 2. He's not a long term solution, but you can't get all of your long term fixes all at once.

I am starting to get this sense as well. It actually makes more sense then DJ to me? I would rather have DJ of course, but Hibbert does seem to be someone kind of under the radar?

Yeah we can. WCS is basically a Tyson Chandler with a jumpshot if you want to go that route.

Lakers won't be a contender for a while. There is no point in guys like Chandler or Marc in their 30s.

It only makes sense if we were a few pieces away to contend, otherwise it would not work at all.

It all depends on who we draft. Assuming we draft a perimeter player, I think Jordan will get the 1st call.

I wouldn't mind that route either.

Again there is no rush for this. There is no free agent here that will make much of a difference for the Lakers short term into contending. Lakers need to focus on the future and developing their talent.

Only get guys who can support it, not be a detriment to it.

Forgot to ask the most important question. Can any of these guys guard Westbrook?

Building a good team with capable players now helps attract difference makes later.

Well according to some, probability is irrelevant. Thus Mitch would best be advised to visit a feng shui master to see if the potted ferns within his office are oriented in the right direction on an annual basis.

Actually being in the 30's is the best time to play basketball...... and no it's not gonna take a while for the Lakers to rebuild.... there is a lot of flexibility the Lakers can maintain for the next several years...

I think Monroe.
Most likely to be on the move in FA and also likely to be an asset down the road in 2 years of he doesn't fit in great on the court.

But a lot depends on who we draft.

Lakers need to put pressure on the Spurs and give green a good offer.. It's likely the Spurs are gonna be busy trying to lock up Leonard to a lengthy deal and also have to know rather they will have Duncan back next year.. Lakers can steal green away from the Spurs if they play there cards right.
