He isn't meeting NBA assistants and College coaches trying to find the next Pat Riley or Phil Jackson. He doesn't want to run the team nor manage all of the day-to-day operations. He just wants to own it and hire some one else to do that other stuff.
Funny thing, the guy Magic would most likely trust to make those decisions is the guy doing it now.

So...he'd do pretty much the same thing Jim does?
