...that sounds a lot like Dwight Howard!

The difference is Young isn't trying to be the number1option

Just want to point out our offensive and defensive efficiency metrics from this year and last

Last year: 101.9 OFF (21st) 107.9 DEF (28th)
This year: 100.8 OFF (23rd) 108.0 DEF (29th)

Lakersken - there is no doubt that young has no chance of coming back if Scott is the coach.. Scott told him to adjust and publicly ignored his orders.

You have 0 clue about whether this is true or not, stop spouting off everything you've ever heard. You seriously have the loudest mouth of of any forum poster I've ever seen, and I've been on the internet for a long long time.

now, you take a look at the celtics roster. Exactly. That's the difference between a great coach in Brad Stevens and a bad one in B'Scott

Great coach? Making the playoffs in a pathetic conference constitutes a great coach?

Give me a break.

Yes it does, cause the Celtics have no business being there at all, let alone giving the cavs a run for their money

Agreed about the weak EAST. But he has put in a wonderful blueprint for that team going forward. Scott? Not so much.

Yes, the Celts play a very nice spread offense and given their lack of defensive players, they play pretty good team defense

If Monty Williams doesn't pick up another job as a head coach, I would love for him to be an assistant coach for us.

As much as I'm interested in our possible 2015 top 5 pick and other draft picks, as well as possible free agents in 2015/2016, I also can't wait until we get a good coach to replace Scott.

Mark Madsen
Sam Cassell
Luke Walton
Kevin Ollie (if he ever leaves college)

I think Ollie is coming; the timing was off during out last coaching hire or else I truly believe he'd be our head coach.

The next time we have a coaching vacancy, the timing won't be off, and he'll be first on our radar.

If it happens, yinomes would celebrate by staring deeply into Ollie's shoulders

Yep. OSPUG is awesome when used properly.
Can help slow down the pace if you need to.
Great way to put the other teams' bigs in foul trouble.

But it relies on 2 things:
1. The guy busting the OSPUG has to have some great OSPUG in him. Can't be Jordan Hill or Ed Davis on the block.
2. Our perimeter guys need to be able to known down some open jumpers, or else the paint will be too congested for the awesome display of OSPUG.

During the last coaching hire they cited NBA head coaching experience as a requirement. Maybe that was simply for Kobe's benefit, maybe they actually believe it's important...

Part of me thinks that Luke Walton might be in the mix down the road.

Now that OKC didn't hire Ollie, maybe we will.

Lakers inviting Byron Scott to the draft lottery likely destroyed any chance of BS getting fired.

I think Walton and Madsen have a better chance IMO.
