If the Rockets face the Clippers in the second round, who'd you want to lose more? Personally, I'd rather the Dippers move on and lose in the conference finals to Golden State.

I couldn't care less what the Clippers do (as a Manchester United fan, it's like not caring what Manchester City do except City has won a couple of league trophies and Clippers haven't won squat in their respective franchise histories). I'd wish worse for Dwight b/c he gave up on the Laker franchise with his poor attitude. Just want to hear your reasons for why you hate the Clippers more than Houston, that's all...

they are not Los Angeles. never will be... that team you see on the Clippers is technically the laker team that was stolen from us. the only reason I want them to win because I want them to knock out the spurs. I wouldn't like the fact that the spurs may have a chance to overshadow the Lakers History since 2000. Its not really about Kobe vs Duncan. its clear that these 2 guys have been the best at their positions for the last 15 years. its which franchise will have a better legacy since 2000. it wouldn't be right if they have 6 titles and back 2 back to claim to that.

in terms of Houston.. I hate the rockets because of Kevin McHale, Morey and that turd Dwight Howard

Houston #4 shows that I don't like Harden/Dwight (though Harden balled out this year).

Clips I hate b/c they are the front-running, NBA-assisted, prancing around like they won multiple championships a-hole team. There's more but that's a short summary.

This is all based on a single player (CP3) not the entire team; I don't place blame on the Clippers, but instead point the finger towards Stern and the merry band of "small market" executives that gleefully (quite possibly illegally) destroyed any plans for the next Laker dynasty before a new CBA would have been ratified.

An argument could be made that if the proposed CP3 trade to the Lakers had been successful, Houston would not have gone after Howard (having acquired Pau); Howard, probably will have found the Lakers to be the best fit and stayed (or the opposite could be true, his ego couldn't allow being reduced to a 3rd wheel option); Harden could have stayed @ OKC, etc. but this is all just rambling speculation that a fourth-rate journalist at Yahoo Sports could concoct in his basement (I'm looking at you Kelly Dwyer).

As a franchise, Houston has enjoyed more success/relevancy than the Clippers and the fact that 'clothesline' McHale is at the helm makes them easier to hate.

I do wish, however Morey was our GM with Mitch as President of Basketball Operations and Jimmy doing whatever he does away from the Lakers.

Since 2008. If that's the definition of being finished, we need that.

On a side note, Boozer was quite the player in '08.

No 6th ring for you Duncan!
We recently left the Kobe era, not the Duncan era.
Hope Duncan retires after an embarrassing first round lose this playoffs.

Out in the first round. They have never been to 3 straight finals and they have never defended their title. Bye bye Spurs.

I wouldn't say bye bye. If they get Aldridge they're the best team in the West again.

best case scenario

One of the old guys (Parker) broke down as I expected.

Since I don't have to deal with D12/Houston fans on a normal basis like I do with annoying, uninformed bandwagon Clipper fans, I'd rather have the Rockets win. Some of my more annoying acquaintances and co-workers are a couple playoff series from getting their teeth knocked down their throats.

Houston will probably win the series in six.

Hamstring injuries will only get worse without rest; & w/o CP3 Dippers won't be as effective.
