How can you not like kisses that taste like fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches?

Because I prefer kisses that give you superpowers.

This morning I ate breakfast like a teenager. Chocolate cream-filled donut and a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch cereal. Thank god I still have the ass of teenager as well.

Bought a new video card (Nvidia 880M) for my laptop. Installed it well enough. Hard drive cable came loose because the cheap plastic latch broke. Now I have an expensive paperweight until I can figure out a solution. Blech.

When I was your age we didn't have hard drives. Had to boot from 5 1/4" floppies and spend hours each day backing up our work. And we liked it that way!

Kids....

(actually I have no idea how old you are, I just feel like the crypt keeper this morning)

I am young enough to upgrade a piece of equipment considered difficult to upgrade. However, I am old enough to be clumsy doing so.

I had to burn a CD the other day as a favor to someone. Seriously took me 15 minutes to remember how.

You think that's bad? I made a mixtape for a girl I liked the other day. She just stared at it with a confused look on her face.

I mean, come on! I even sprung for the 120 minute tape!

Ever since Circuit City closed I've been forced to buy my blank cassette tapes at Radio Shack or, in a pinch, Kmart.

Bah. When I was your age, I had to raise and lower my dinosaur's neck with the use of a crank, pulley, and some rope. Then we had to log our whole day by etching it into clay tablets. Kids these days...

Just buy a bunch of Hootie & The Blowfish tapes, they're cheaper than blank tapes.

It's the day of happy mothers. I certainly do not take the blame.

That's where there's no animals involved, right?

That's what I have been wondering.

I could be wrong and I haven't been looking (because, internet), but does anyone make skinemax type flicks anymore? If they've gone the way of the dinosaur, then does that mean that there is no longer soft core or does the old hard core become the new soft core and the stuff with midgets and animals and various foodstuffs become the new hard core?

I might have to go to the AVNs next year and see if they have a panel discussion on such things.

If the late night listings on cinemax, showtime, and even HBO are any indication, soft core is alive and well.
