Assuming the clippers lose to Spurs and Lakers keep the pick at #4 would you trade it to the clips to get Paul and pair him with Kobe for a year or two? I would! _________________ "Names don't win championships, Teams do!" - Jerry West

Another hypothetical proposal: would you trade the #1 overall pick for Griffin? |

Nope, he's already 30. He doesn't have many prime years left. |

Two posts in and you want to change the thread topic? How about you let the OP have a couple of pages for his own before you hijack his thread. |

Look up clutch playoff performers and you don't see Paul's name anywhere. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I mean they'll never offer this, but yeah I'd take it. CP3 is still the point god. He'll be effective on offense for years to come. If Nash can play to late 30s at a high level I don't see why Paul can't. |

The Lakers always get who they want. You pair Paul with Kobe and some decent players and you got a playoff team. Not to mention it would be huge FU to David Strearn! _________________ "Names don't win championships, Teams do!" - Jerry West |

Undersized point guards don't do well once they hit 30. I'm having a hard time thinking of an exception in fact. |

Absolutely. As pathetic as he was last night Paul is still the best point guard in the game after Steph. |

Paul is still a top seven or eight player in the league. |

No offense, but if LG had a blocking mechanism where you could no longer be bothered by posts from particular posters (and I wish they had this), I would block you for wasting my time with this |

Can't stand that flopping T-Rex-armed, insurance selling clown. So, no. _________________ “It took many years of vomiting up all the filth I’d been taught about myself, and half-believed, before I was able to walk on the earth as though I had a right to be here.”

To be fair, he's not the only one annoyed by your threads. I've never said anything against your threads. But I've seen countless other LGers who have blatantly expressed their displeasure with your threads. Just calling it how I see it.
Now to get back on topic... No way would I trade the 4th pick for a whiny, floppy, almost 30 year old choke artist who has had almost 10 years to prove himself with more than enough talent to do some damage. |

We don't have a 4th pick to hypothetically trade yet but to humor this OP's question, no. Here are a list of players I would give up our top pick for:
Steph Curry
Anthony Davis
...that's all. _________________ Lakers, today. Lakers, tomorrow. Lakers, forever. |

The only modern exception I can come up with is John Stockton. |

Add Kyrie and Durant to that list. |
