We didn't.
That's probably why it was such a disappointment. _________________ I would rather have questions I cannot answer than answers I cannot question - Richard Feynman |

Yea I'm amazed at how much one awful player being replaced can benefit the team. The Mavs look like a whole new squad. I don't know if they have the firepower to come back in the series but they look pretty good now that they are true NBA caliber from 1 to 5 |
Carlise probably wanted to use this lineup in the first place but Cuban and the media would have ripped him for it. |
The Mavs were 19-8 before they traded for Rondo. They went 31-24 after that. The Celtics were 9-14 with Rondo and 31-28 without him. |

Oh I'm not doubting how awful he is as a basketball player. But to see the difference game to game between the same teams with and without him is really pretty eye-opening |

i hate to agree. Farmar has the loser mentality of Nick Young. Austin Rivers plays with more heart than Farmar when it really counts. |

What happened to smith? |
He elbowed Crowder pretty hard. Shades of MWP on Harden. |
I thought it was more like the Kobe/Artest and Dirk/Artest incidents. IN both cases, Artest was going over the back and fouling the crap out of the guy and eventually the guy got sick of it and threw an elbow. Same thing I saw with Smith and Crowder except Smith connected better.
The Artest Harden play was just an unprovoked assault. |

I think their will be at least 1 upset in the eastern conference second round.
Washington over Atlanta or Chicago over Cleveland.. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Cavs say Kevin Love (shoulder) is unavailable for the East Semis and his status beyond that will be determined over the next several days. |

The NBA has suspended J.R. Smith for two games and Kelly Olynyk for one |
Sucks for Cavs about Love. The Bulls however are finally getting a break vs Lebron instead of the other way around.
JR Smith deserved a bigger punishment imo. He got a slap on the wrist. |

2 games is a JOKE. And a bad one at that. Any other uniform and this guy is probably serving 4-5 games, maybe more. NBA is a (bleep) JOKE. |

Olnyk was suspended only 1 game for intentionally ending Love's season. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Thats because he wasn't on the Lakers, and wasn't named Metta World Peace. If he was either, he would be banned for 7 games, maybe even for the playoffs entirely. |

Deron Williams is horrible. What was he thinking? And now the Hawks don't get a shot off at the buzzer, either.
All anyone needs to know about both teams, happened on those last two plays in regulation. Leastern conference. _________________ Smrek 2, Nevitt 1, Barkley 0 |

Wow what a choke contest to end regulation. Deron goes way too early and leaves the Hawks a lot of time to get a final shot and then the Hawks don't even get a shot off. |

Commish is a joke. He deserved to be out 5 games minimum. I would argue remainder of the playoffs. If I had it my way, he wouldn't be in the league. _________________ Smrek 2, Nevitt 1, Barkley 0 |

Atlanta is not that good. Worst #1 seed in recent memory. Wouldn't be surprised if Brooklyn eliminates them. |

I think it's fair to say Brooklyn has been the better team for most of these 4 games. Atlanta is lucky to not be down 3-1. _________________ Smrek 2, Nevitt 1, Barkley 0

Pacers last year were worse. They stumbled into the playoffs and really struggled in the first round too. |
