That green color is not even remotely close to that Celtic "green"
Green or not, it doesn't have anything to do with the Celtics. For example, the leaf symbol in Canada is green. |

This one was Nike's call. They went with that shade of green calling it the "Green Mamba" There MAY or MAY NOT be a lace swap for Kobe on Christmas. I've seen the shoe with green laces and I've seen em with red. The red laces are by far better than the green ones IMO but I'm not particularly sure which laces Kobe will suit up with. The whole idea behind the shoe is suppose to be "The Grinch that stole Christmas"...that's also another reason for the ton of green that's on there and very little red... _________________ http://i383.photobucket.com/albums/oo278/InnocenceIsKey/3628030654_e9f0a77689_o.jpg |

I am not a basketball shoe lover by any means and usually don't like any of the shoes everybody makes a big deal about... but those LeBron shoes are pretty tight I must admit. Only thing I'd want to change is remove the Nike Swoosh |

Kobe's are so cool, nice concept. _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. Exactly. I dont know why its so hard for everyone else to grasp that concept of the shoe. I bet I Kobe was to be asked if he's worried about offending Laker fans by wearing a green shoe, he would probably say "Seriously? Damn, those fans need to get a life" |

Aside from them being ugly as hell, the way I justify the color is that they're more "Highlighter Yellow" than Green... _________________ Just chill and watch the new Dynasty evolve...
