Any one of the four remaining teams could use him as a valuable bench piece (6th or 7th man). His salary is only for one more year, and there's the increase in cap coming. They can probably keep him for a new contact at 6 mil per..

The Warriors would be thrilled if they could make some salary disappear this Summer without too much pain. Adding Hill's $9 million salary would be pushing them back towards - into Luxury Tax.

Houston has Capela as Dwight's backup at a much cheaper salary than Hill's $9 million. Hill's two point shots from distance would be severely frowned upon by Houston which is partial to shots near the rim and three pointers.

If JR Smith, Love and LeBron pickup their options for next season, the Cavs will be carrying quite a bit of salary and would look for a bargain priced backup big rather than Hill's $9 million. Brendan Haywood has a favorable contract for next season, but it won't help with a Draft Day trade.

Atlanta's team salary will likely jump quite a bit if they are able to keep Milsap and Carroll.

Already tried trading him and drew blanks. Nobody wants him at that contract. Better to just let him walk.

Yup, that nonsense we were fed last year about the contract being trade friendly and whatnot was a joke. No one wants Jordan Hill at 10 million a year unless it means they can dump an even worse contract in exchange for him.

Since the Lakers don't have to take back salaries and Hill is only on a 1 year deal, i think a contending team might go for it. We're not going to get much in return though... probably a 2nd round pick. Better than nothing since we won't exercise his option anyhow.

You have it backwards. The contending team would have to send back the same salary to us unless that team was under cap.

Cavs might be interested (if they think or know that Love will leave in free agency) and they have Brendan Haywood's unguaranteed $10.5 million contract.
