This episode did not have any Jared liners, which makes it a weaksauce one. And Richard's character is getting annoying. I agree with DaMulesRules, they missed a potential comedic opportunity with Russ, whose been a very pleasant comedic surprise as of late, and the constant failures are starting to get a bit tiresome. And it's not so much that they're failures, but they're not really that funny. On the flip side, the Hooli failures have been hilarious.
One of the reasons the Hooli failures are great is because you want them to fail... you don't want Richard to fail. Road bumps are fine, but disappointment after disappointment just becomes depressing.
I feel that part of it is also the comedic potential of the characters. I think Richard's nervousness killed a few potentially comedic scenes whereas Gavin and Russ have had some great comedic scenes when before I couldn't stand their characters and now look forward to their scenes to see what they do next.

I'm starting to think Richard is going to get Gavin's job...or at least half of it.
Pied Piper and Hooli seem to have separate halves of the same pie. Functionality and a platform. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”
Rough one for the Pied Piper gang in court, but it looks like it will actually set up a nice win in the finale.

Agree. This episode was much better than the last one, probably because more Jared = more laughs. I hope they keep the "lawyer" on as a recurring character. He's another great supporting character with great comedic timing, which isn't a surprise since I recognize him from the Police Academy film and being Lloyd Braun. Finale should be interesting.
What the heck was their lawyers angle in grilling Bachman?
Use the big head tact they took against the plaintiff.
Right, thats what he said in the episode. I watched it. But does anyone have anything to add to that? How does showing that Erlich likes crappy ideas benefit his reasoning?
Season finale was decent. The only part that was a little annoying was Richard fumbling his way back home. It wasn't as funny as it could have been up until the bus driver's speech. Interesting to see how season 3 will play out, hopefully with a bigger role from Monica and hopefully they bring back more of Russ and Jerry.
They were renewed for Season 3 a while ago. We'll see if they'll add a fourth.
