Has about the same ring of truth as everything else he says ... in reality, he spent his prison time in a minimum security prison that only houses non-violent offenders, mostly white-collar criminals.

But his audience is primarily stupid people so I guess it doesn't hurt him with his ever-shrinking base to say stupid things.

Hey man, those embezzling accountants can be a pretty scary bunch. You'd be passed around for a TI calculator.

Good thing Tim was taken in by the politicians-who-have-accepted-bribes gang. Anyone bothers Tim they just gerrymand him to another cell block.

Yeah, poor Tim, when he writes about "dropping the soap", he just means he had to pick up the soap off the floor.

Okay, I had to look this one up. This place sounds like freaking Alcatraz meets freaking Devils Island. Check out the list of animals who did time there:

Here's a link to the expose in Forbes. Be careful -- the shocking details may turn your stomach or fill you with a sudden desire to give mail fraud a shot:

The article ended:

Weeks later, when I asked Kim over the phone why her ex-husband had an almost pathological need to confess to things, to tell the truth, she burst into laughter. When she stopped laughing, she said, “The truth?”
