At what point will Aldridge have to take out a restraining order on the Lakers?

I'm really looking forward to our young core playing. But they're still kids. Lots of growing pains ahead. This is the part in NBA 2k where you simulate the rest of free agency and let the computer pick a garbage team for you.

I really hope Russell and Randle are as good as some on here say, because if they turn out to be bust. We could end up looking even worse then we do right now.

P.S. Thank god tommorow the 4 of July. Can't stand any more bad news..

Start looking for salary dumps. Get BPA through FA. Try to finish as close to .500 as you can next season...

As bad as that is, what is worse is that the two people entrusted with the safe-keeping of the franchise are having a very public spat through leaks and statements to the media. And as usual, Mitch is stuck in the middle.

It would break Jerry's heart to see them behaving like this. But would also
be a sobering reminder that splitting responsibilities between the two was probably short-sighted.

Thanks Luca.

If our talent develops in the way that we hope it'll be easier to lure a free agent next year.

Part of the problem this year is that players don't know if our talent will pan out. The Lakers have historically been good at developing players, but nobody has really seen what Randle and Russell are really capable of doing.

I think everyone is in full panic mode bc we haven't landed the "big name" free agents... DJ, Marc Gasol, LMA, would have been nice-- but they don't want to play here? [bleep] them. Outside of DJ these guys are all two old to grow with our young core anyhow and each and everyone of them has their flaws.

We still have a solid young core that (I believe) will make something happen. Randle showed WAY more promise in summer league and preseason that Clarkson... Look what Clarkson was able to do once given playing time. Black PROVED he is an NBA player last year and started bother for Houston and us. (The guy pulled down 19 fricken boards in a game, that is NOT an anomaly...)

I for one look forward to an exciting season with a healthy young roster and seeing the rookies and youngsters develop.

It's an honor to wear the purple and gold and the guys we have on board understand that. The glass is half full my firends.

Wizards out: Nene, 2016 2nd rounder

Warriors in: 15 mil TPE
Warriors out: David Lee, 2016 first rounder

Magic in: David Lee, Nick Young, Warriors first, Wizards 2nd, Lakers 2nd
Magic out; Tobias Harris

Lakers in: Nene, Tobias Harris
Lakers out: Nick Young, 2nd rounder,

No were upset, because we can't even get average or decent players to consider us. Shoot Lopez choose the Knicks over us. The Knicks! The worse franchise in the NBA the last 30 years. Let that sink in.

The future pick is a good thing. At this point, not locking up long term, and adding tradable assets (future picks, expirings too at the deadline), is the best the Lakers can hope for.

Two Jeremy Lin type deals where you get a first thrown in.

At this point, Summer League games can't come soon enough. And I just realized, I joined LG in dark times like this!

Don't see it for Portland. Guy has a monster contract and is coming off a career threatening injury.

Just incase, a dose of optimism here, that LMA does sign withe us... albeit with the promise of letting him play the 4... can we still trade Randle, Clarkson, future picks, +/- player (s) for DeMarcus Cousins?

PG D'Angelo Russell, Jabari Brown
SG Kobe Bryant, SwaggyP
SF Ryan Kelly
PF LaMarcus Aldridge, Tariq Black
C DeMarcus Cousins, Robert Sacre

Does the $ work to get Cousins? How much money left to fill holes?

Free agent guard Rajon Rondo flew into Sacramento yesterday evening and his visit with the Kings is expected to last until this afternoon.

The depression last night caused me to temporarily lose my sanity and say bringing in Rondo may not be bad, but hopefully the Kings save the Lakers from themselves.
