If it's up to Nick Young, he would like to start at small forward. But Young said he's open to whatever role Byron wants from him

If you've played basketball before, it doesn't matter if it's a championship game or pick up game,it feels hella good to hit the game winning shot. But I'm thinking it'll feel a little better if it was for the championship

If he wants to start he has to show effort and focus on the defensive end of the floor. Maybe he'll do that now that Williams took over his role as 6th man.

Yep Drew league is some big time summer ball stuff. Lots of play ground legends and pro ball players play.

Good to see Nick dropping shots again and playing. He will help the Lakers this season...

He gets too much hate.

If that shot makes him more confident and he does improve next season I'm all for it. His weakness is playing defense and we already know what he is about the past two years. Has he changed? Will his defense improve? Will his 3pt% improve? That remains to be seen but he has a right to celebrate that victory.

Young has always been a good 3pt shooter and he has size to play SF. We don't know if Kobe will stay healthy. This is why I didn't want to trade him. He has his bad moments but when he's focused he's capable of holding a lead for the starters.

Agreed. They is just so much hate around him right now like he's the cuase of our problems. "The clip" was hard to watch but this is going to be a new environment for Nick. He and Lou off the bench will be fun to watch.

Unfortunately, he was our best wing defender last year. Yeah, he had breakdowns like everyone else, but the Byron was selective in who he would get on about them, so he took most of the flack.

If he's healthy this this season, he should play a lot better. But hopefully he doesn't let easy street get to him.

Swaggy always plays good in these pickup style exhibition games. On another note I love the way Demar Derozen plays dude is super athletic and has great creativity finishing. Id like the Lakers to target him next Summer.

Not much chance of that with BS as coach.
