to me he should study irving's handles

I'd like to see him handle the ball like Curry. It's elite but achievable with hard work. Kyrie'so handle isn't something the average person could emulate.

Jordan Clarkson will throw ceremonial first pitch Tuesday. He and the Laker girls will recite “It’s time for Dodger baseball!” @MarkG_Medina

Sometimes I worry that I've hyped up Clarkson too much in my own head, but then I rewatch his highlights and see how well he gets to the rim and creates offense while also almost always making the right decision and I only get more excited!

JC reaping the rewards of being a Lakers star player. Just saw that he's dating super model Chanel Iman. Well done Clarkson.

And you don't get that in Minny. Ask Zach Lavine.

I already like his shot but I'm confident that it's going to be something special when the season starts and as it progresses. He did the work last year and he's doing it again. He wants to get paid like the big boys.

People outside of our fanbase are very skeptical of him. They think he's just a good stats on a bad team player, which I don't understand the logic of labeling him as that just because he was a second round pick. A majority of rookies in the running of Rookie of the Year are players who put up good stats on a bad team. Plus most second round picks don't have the work ethic that Clarkson does. He's been working out since the end of April for Christ's sake. I don't know what he'll be in his prime, but at the very least I can see him being a scorer off the bench. If he can shoot the three at a solid level, he'll be in the league for a long time.

that's all it is. Had he been a top 10 pick nobody would be surprised. The skepticism come from the fact that he came out of nowhere

This is a good season for Clarkson to get some national recognition. We'll be on national TV a bunch and the team, while not playoff-worthy most likely, will not be the garbage squad from last year.

Throwback: Baby Clarkson vs Illinois 2013 25 / 6 / 8

You could see it then.. I am glad that Ryan and Jesse continued to believe in him when other GM's didn't.

It's funny how we're all talking about Dlo...We forget that we have a stud player in JC, who's largely already proven himself to us. Just have to keep things in perspective.

I don't think anyone has forgotten about JC...the discussion over at the DLo's thread isn't really much of a discussion.
