With "My untrained eye", I think Randle should concentrate on the finishing around the basket to get those and 1's.

Man just enjoy the quote, no need to add (bleep) that doesn't have anything to do with what he's saying. People really love to be killjoys. That egotism needs to be taken down a notch.

We'll wait and see it demonstrated on the floor in October. Lets see if he can bring that "high motor" which scouts said he has during last years draft.

Exactly wait and see so let's leave the unnecessary negativity out of topics that it doesn't belong.

I thought you'd all be thrilled hearing them wanting to work together as a team supporting each other and helping each other instead of playing selfish ball....but I guess not.

In SL the guy did have the best hustle rating on the team, that has to say a little bit about his game.

I'm really happy to hear him say that. These young guys have a chance to be special out there considering how well their skillsets mesh. I think they have an even better chance of reaching thst potential Iif they build chemistry.

It does, but some can't help complaining about things. Only here would one consider new players trying to learn to fit in with each other a bad thing.

Yes because there isn't a whole lot of time during training camp and preseason to talk about rebounds and defense. Obviously Randle has to talk about it 24/7 for us to know he's committed. People sure can act like impatient babies man.

the tools to be a solid defender are already showing up too, he did things like this on several occasions, not fully on this play, but he was flat out stopping guards drives with his footspeed, I remember him doing it to brice cotton a few times, and there were other instances as well. We gotta remember that this dude has only played like 15 games and half of those were in SL, we gotta give him time

The Los Angeles Lakers signed undrafted rookie Jonathan Holmes to a “significant partial” guaranteed contract.

Plus, Mitch is trying out more young additions to our team today!!

I love that this thread has (Not Swaggy P) at the end of its title.

It makes me laugh every time I read it.

Latest from Laker Nation.

Gonna need some GT analysis on the scrimmage.

Randle, Clarkson, Nance looked good from the clips they showed

Agree with above. Unfort. the clip showed more of the same (compared to SL) from DLO. Looks like it may take him some time to develop (which is okay).

I had to clarify with "Young" in the title.

That clip was from practice before Summer League...so why would it look any different than his SL games?

It will be interesting to see who they invite to camp. Even if you don't make the team, a couple of weeks in Hawaii with the Lakers far from sucks.

I'm surprised not a word about the tryouts went.
