And interesting "explanation" of the upcoming scenarios in regards to L.A.'s NFL quest.

I never thought of the Raiders and Chargers getting 9 votes to block the Rams. They already have 2 votes to start with.

My money would be in Inglewood with the Rams and Raiders sharing the stadium....Rams have priority and dates because Kroenke is building the stadium. The Raiders ownership don't have the money to build a stadium on their own, and they are definitely not going to sell 20% of the team so they can build one in Oakland.Chargers and Raiders sharing the stadium never made sense because they are division rivals. Out of all 3 teams, the Chargers are the one that are most likely going to stay where they are.

Looks like the Rams are out with St Louis getting a big victory in court today. There is no urgency for the Chargers and Raiders now with Stan Kroenke staying put.

I wouldn't say it's a victory for St. Louis - the citizens could now have a stadium shoved down their throat at their expense and without any say in the matter.

The only people getting any victory are the stadium people and Kroenke.

Yeah. That's true. Inglewood will be a Walmart now.

Raiders fans are (bleep) and no one wants them around to bring down property values.

And finally, there are persistent rumors that some stadiums have blackballed the Raiders.

Having the raiders back would be a worst-case-scenario to me.

Is there any chance a team could come to LA and be rebranded? I honestly think that's the only way I could become an NFL fan after 20-odd years without a team.

The likely scenario right now seems like it will be 0 teams in LA. Rams are out which means there is no sense of urgency now for the Chargers and Raiders.

I guess I don't understand how this works but, now that St. Louis had it's victory, is Stan forced to stay there? Can't he still move if he wants to?

No way the NFL owners vote for relocation with St Louis paying 500 million in public money. I don't know if forced to stay is the right way to put it because Kroenke got what he wanted.

If the Rams aren't coming, then it looks like the Chargers are in the drivers seat. They rejected the Mission Valley stadium proposal immediately, and only want a stadium downtown....Look for them to move to LA next year, unless San Diego has a miracle the last minute.

If the Chargers move then most likely the Raiders will move as well...

I don't think the Raiders and Chargers will both move and share a stadium unless the league realigns and moves one of them to the NFC West.

cool. I'd root for the bolts. Raidahs would be worse case but, I'd still root for them too.

You just know that ancient Armenian grandma is going to force Mickey to make friendly with her who-ha. And according to Katie, the Chargers are now the front runners.
