If he deserves to start he will. If not, he won't. The Lakers don't Kwame Brown their young players.

The Lakers haven't had a top 2 pick since Worthy so that's some extremely flawed logic.

Actually it is perfect logic, unless you haven't been paying attention to how the Lakers develop their young players in the last 15 years or so. They don't rush them along, being a second pick has nothing to do with it.

What is he doing in the weight room when he should be talking about defense and rebounding.

In Randle's defense, it takes strength to box out.

In your defense, he hasn't shown any hunger/desire for boards.

NBA's new hustle stat - takes into account contesting shots, deflections, loos balls, etc. - results from Lakers/Mavs next tweet

remains to be seen how people view these stats, but there it is on paper

Randle averaged 6 rebounds in 21 minutes in the preseason last year, which equates to 10 per 36. He didn't rebound well in the SPL, but it was also his first action in a year. Let's see how he does in September.

Good to see Randle doing dead lifts. I recently started doing those myself this year and the results are incredible!

I was out of the country for summer league games, so I'm catching up now.
Not happy with Randle's defense so far. Specifically this play

i thought Randle can average same numbers as Griffin in 1st yr so i went to check Griffin's number. & damm those are some impressive numbers.

22.5 and 12.1rebounds & 3.8 assists for 82 games

damm those are crazy numbers.

You may want to try riding a bike or swimming if your legs are not solid, yet.

For upper body, anything that gets your heart pumping and body sweating will help increase your cardio stamina.

It's much much easier to put up more weight when you're shorter. The weight travels a smaller distance which is less work. Also we don't know what % of 1RM Randle is working at, so your comparison is invalid.
