10 ppg, 5ast, 4reb, 40%fg, 3pt 31%, 79%ft

That's it folks and I have a feeling he will spend a lot of time on the bench.

Really? I don't see him being glued to the bench b/c the FO will want DLO to play this year, lose and learn in an otherwise inconsequential year (championships wise).

In a B-Scott offense (read: methodical) and with so few proven perimeter shooters being fed by a rookie lead guard, there doesn't seem much chance for Russell to finish the season having dished even 6 apg overall. The distributing opportunities will be more likely spread rather too evenly among Clarkson, Lou Williams and DA for any one guy to amass much more than 5 assists per game in the long run this season. Just a feel thing.

Now, if Coach can manufacture more possessions and we see see more transition shooting opportunities from an up-tempo offense from this crew, D-Russell might lead the team in assists - barely. Not sure there's much chance of seeing that (a high scoring team) happen though.

That's probably all rookie 1st team numbers.

Considering Elfrid Payton got there with 8.9ppg/6.5apg/4.3rpg/1.7spg, you might be right.

If he gains trust with Scott - 13 ppg/5 apg
If instead Scott gains trust in Williams and Clarkson - 8 ppg/4 apg

I guess a medium would be 10.5 ppg and 4.5 apg

With Kobe playing I just don't see Russell racking up the assists like most. I still think the offense will run through Kobe?

You do realize there's only a couple games left?

Probably more reasonable than expecting him to average fewer rebounds & assists next season in more minutes.

lol, my bad.

I was thinking about next season.

I believe we will land a couple of good free agents but I trust his scoring capabilities. Even as 3rd or 4th option I think he can score over 15 a game.

Stats aren't that important to me. That being said I'd say 18ppg 4rpg. I thought he would get more assists this year, but maybe since the ball will be in his hands more, I guess 5apg. The kid has a sweet stroke tho, plays so smooth

I don't think there will be enough boards for our guards with a decent C alongside Randle. The 3 reb is something from 3.0 to 3.9.

With a new coach running most pick and rolls and decent a decent partner he can average maybe 6 assists, but we have too many "if(s)" here.

His pts and stl should go up, he is progressing on D and has all the tools to be a great scorer. I believe he is going to score 20+ in a couple of seasons.

I think the kid is going to come in and average 14.3ppg, 4.8rpg, 8.2apg, 2spg and 4.1 turnovers per game. I think he will shoot 43%fgs, 78%fts and 37%threes. I think be will hit 5/11.5fgs, 1.3/3.5threes and 3/3.8fgs. Unfortuantly, he will likely lead the nba in turnovers this season but the league hasn't seen this kind of passer in a while, so turnovers are a given, considering his style of play, but they will decrease as his team mates get use to him. Those are pretty damn good rookie numbers though.

predic actual diff
ppg 14.3 13.2 -1.1
rpg. 4.8 3.4 -1.4
apg 8.2 3.3 -4.9
spg 2.0 1.2 -0.8
tov 4.1 2.5 -1.6
fg% 43.0 41.0 -2.0
3p% 37.0 35.1 -1.9
ft% 78.0 73.4 -4.6
fgm 5.0 4.9 -0.1
3pm 1.3 1.6 +0.3
ftm 3.0 1.8 -1.2

I was close on pretty much everything except for assists, thanks to Byron.
