Does the actor's twin brother also work on the show?
Haven't heard that he's had an appearance yet, he's a teacher by trade. On the other hand, the actor has dropped by one of his twin brother's classes in the past to talk with the students.
It was obvious from the very start that Mr Robot was in his head. In the very first episode you can see the rest of the crew look straight through him! Plus no one ever talked to Mr Robot, only straight to Eliot. Although in later episodes they did, so I had a few doubts. But then they started showing a bunch of other clues.
However that then got me thinking - this is too obvious. It's a rip off from Fight Club. This can't be it. So I started looking at who else they're constantly showing: Tyrell. And actually there's a few clues here and there that TYRELL IS ALSO ELLIOT. Mostly because there was not one scene with both Tyrell and Elliot and other people talking to the two of them. It's always just one of them, or Tyrell and Elliot. For instance in the episode where they go to the restaurant in the server building.
Especially in the last episode where Mr Robot talks to Tyrell. "He knows his secret." Elliot is obviously a schizo and it is very possible that Tyrell is also Elliot. The only thing against this theory is the sole Gideon/Tyrell meeting.
The main reason I think Tyrell is also Elliot is because Tyrell sure knew about Elliot's trick quickly, and for whatever reason he decided to stick around in the first episode to talk to Elliot. And let's not forget the biggest clue to me - the very first episode at the end, where he goes into this weird "Evil Corp meeting". Why would Tyrell be the boss there? It's because Tyrell does not exist. Or Elliot does not. They are the same person.
Tyrell obviously is also a schizo character, or something, considering he's beating up homeless people and up to other weird shenanigans. The breakdown after he strangles the lady at his work is also a good clue. It's like a different personality suddenly took over! Definite schizo
The one thing I wasn't quite sure about was how come Darlene knows Angela, at the ballerina club? But as I write this down I figure because Darlene was always Elliot's sister and Elliot knows Angela from his childhood so that's why they know each other.
I dont consider it a spoiler if the episode has already aired. You shouldn't have a thread for a TV show that doesnt talk about each episode after it airs. A spoiler is when someone says something that will happen on the show before the episodes have aired. If you're not caught up on a show yet then don't enter the thread until you have.

Right. That's my take too.
And I agree with the above poster about this having the Fight Club vibe. It also has some shades of Dexter too, maybe just because it's a weirdo narrating in both...
That Episode 8. Holy molly lol. I really was not expecting Darlene & Mr Robot to be related to Elliot in any way, shape, or form.
Now I'm starting to think that Eliots mom was probably the one that died due to E Corp. _________________

I actually guessed it right when she said, "did you forget?"
Of all the things that really happened in Episode 8, the real question is: How is Tyrell's wife so effing sexy, but yet so effing terrifying!
btw, is Tyrell really part of FSociety!? _________________ ♪ ♫One good thing about music, when it hits, you feel no pain...

Some Pulp Fiction tributes tonight in a couple spots. A few episodes back they had the diner scene before his girl friend was killed that was clearly Pulp Fiction influenced.

This is the best show on television.
Great homage to Fight Club by playing the most memorable song on the soundtrack, The Pixies - Where is My Mind. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

Thanks for 35 years of love, sacrifice and joy...also for taking me to all the lakers games at the GW forum as a youngster and helping me understand the joy that comes from watching a lakers game
2nd best TV show right now behind Game of Thrones. Last night's episode shows how mentally (bleep) up Elliot is. Tyrell looks like he might be starting to lose his mind as well. Terry Colby is a great characters as well every scene he's had so far has been captivating. I think he's going to successful recruit poor broke Angela to the darkside. Intriguing switch up with Tyrell possibly becoming the anti hero joining Fsociety and Angela possibly working for Evil corp.

It's definitely worth all the hoopla. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”
I just finished watching all of Humans, and I read online that I should watch Mr Robot next. Looks like it's LG approved!
Humans was really well done. I'll definitely be tuning in for Season 2. I like Robots as well, but the Synths just hit the mark better for me. But I'm admittedly partial to British series. _________________ I'm On point, On task, On message, and Off drugs. A Streetwise Smart Bomb, Out of rehab and In denial. Spoilers so don't click if you haven't seen all 10 episodes. On a tangent, some of you guys are amazing the way you can pick up tiny clues and piece these theories together.
